Total rubbish. The Legend of Fale Bure is complete nonsense. First of all, the swedish nation was not "founded" at the battles of lena and gestilren. It was during Birger jarls reign as Jarl the different ruling families finally united and formed Svea Rige. If i would name one battle that really "united" sweden it would be the battle of Herrevadsbro 1251.
Let's stick to the evidence we have and try to be accurate here. Dont go around and claim that old tales and myths are FACT.
You don´t know what you are talking about...there are much evidence about this hero...now we also believe that we have found his large castle there in Byrestad (Birsta) too!!!
I belive i do know what im talking about. There is no evidence of him even existing. It's a tale, a myth, a legend, nothing more Ulf. Please, be reasonable.
What do you base this theory of yours on? your theory regarding "fale bure" being the uniter of the geatish and swedish lands?
The farmers in Skön know about this legend BEFORE Johannes Bureus write about him...he missed where his castle was located...but now we think we have found the place!!!!!! See with your own eyes on my videos about this matter or come up here and I shall show you around and you can see the rest of the walls foryourself!
i`m also related to fale bure found it on pavo lipponens family tree

The tale of Fale Bure was written by his descendant Johan Bureus. He wrote it during his journey in the northern regions of Sweden 1600 - 1601.
