why use the imicus? use a real dps frigate and the plex wont take you ages.  dont really need to salvage the wrecks since frigates give shitty loot anyways. Only loot the rare spawns

Ok, i bet your main job in eve online is jita spamming. people dont trust him, you cant earn 80M in site with imicus, All that he wants is to take you in game so he gets free 1 month/person.

Tier 1 lol, i noticed tier 1 in your loot.

For nice earning you need at least 4/10 dificulty, and to do 4/10 you need at least cruiser with nice skills.

@Crushdag it depends on what you were fighting some times the salvage can be worth more then 100 mill if you are lucky and some times it's basically worth barely any thing.

@cinosxx By exclusion. His max speed ~830 with AB - doable with only skills; cargo at default for imicus 320; he tank with speed and shield, so no armor plates... Remaines not too many options. I assume that there are 2 Power Diagnostic System modules in low slots -> good for passive shield tank + allows AB and 2 Salvagers work without draining capacitor.

Tried it, but these complexes seem to be farmed 24/7. In most of the ones I visited the Officer was dead already. :'(

And I'm guessing you use drones because they don't take ammo? It's not possible on a trial account but a wolf or jaguar can kill things significantly faster and have the same tank.

I have run these complexes before. I saw that you salvage stuff. A jaguar can also salvage stuff. I do not fail to understand that. Really.

What I DO fail to understand is their respawn rate. Do you have to kill the final room in a certain way to make it happen? I haven't done one in at least a year, and back then I was told they were only good for one run per day.

@realyNobody If you have 2 accounts and train them so one can pilot an orca and one can pilot a hulk then you can clear about 300 mil in about 6, 3 hour mining sessions. In short if you spend 1 8 hour span each week you can make about 300 mil from just mining.

Sorry, just one more question --

I've been farming DED complexes (Serpentis level 1, Drones level 2) and I've accumulated 30 mil in 4 days from selling the items I get and salvaging wrecks.... but it is a bit slow-going, I can only do several complexes a day and I often have to flee from stronger players when they enter the complex (even w/ 2 salvagers I linger in a single place for too long).

Should I be doing higher level complexes? What rat has the best chance to drop something expensive?

Drop is just a matter of luck. What kind of faction loot you got during that time? Lvl 3 static plexes are much more rare in empire and are harder, requiring good fitted/skilled cruisers or t2 frigs at least.

Unfortunately, only some energized plating (x3) :/. Really bad luck there, lol! I didn't realize you had to destroy the building at the end of the complex until 2 days ago, lol so I missed out on some good loot I imagine. I've gotten some okay luck on rare items, 2 items sold for 6 mil ea, and I've salvaged a lot of parts, probably around 10 mil worth, of course I'm doing some missions on the side too.

Probably going to go Vexor droneboat in a few days, would that be a match for level 3 Dspace?

I would get t2 light drones, good capacitor management and tanking skills before trying that. But yeah ofc cruiser is a match for lvl 3s :).

In helios you have way better tanking and speed so you can blitz around plexes and pockets more safely if needed. Best thing is you will be handling more advanced tasks like scanning anomalies or returning home after exiting wormholes in 0.0s

I played the 14 day trial about a year ago and found EVE really interesting (but because I had no time to really commit, I never subscribed).

Looks like an interesting strategy, but why should we use drones, specifically? Are they easier to upgrade or are they more effective against rats, or something?

You have good damage while having high slots of your ship free so you can use salvagers. It is to stabilize profit.

Wow, this and the previous video are awesome. I've been playing for about 8 months, and I've been looking for a good solo profession.

A couple questions. One, what are the chances of getting blown up while doing this? Are the complexes easily doable with a little combat skill, or should I be really careful while fighting the pockets?

Two, what ship do you use for this? I saw you mentioned upgrading to a Helios, is that what you use?

Hello. This specific plex is very easy, you can tank it with afterburner, your drones getting and losing aggro and some crappy shield regen like 0-1.5. Off course its good to be carefull so you dont lose any of drones or get your ship damaged.

I was using a t1 ship with t1 drones for demonstration purpose. Helios or Imicus are only ships you can be using. Another plex guide allready filmed but needs editing, coming in next few days after i get few things done ^^.
