  • @5up3rCOnqu3r0r dont underestimate the atlantic! in the eastern atlantic, parts of europe as well as south africa have some of the worlds biggest waves; infact, the biggest wave ever surfed was in portugal! in terms of the east coast/caribbean, there is still some solid surf; there have even been XXL sessions in the caribbean

  • @breeze344 the bahamas hold the most surf potential in the caribbean. they are filled with south pacific style reef passes, and are very exposed to NW swells. I was at a reef pass in march 2008 that was indo like perfaction

  • @montauksurf916 most potential to surf wonky fickle occasionally epic waves. And they have more exposure to NE swells not NW. Too close to florida to get the bulk of north west swells. Anyway bahamas are sick but there are waaaaay better islands in terms of swell quality, local conditions, and setups. Bahamas get alot of the wind associated with the swell creation soo theres better bets and cheaper flights elsewhere

  • dont under estimate caribbean east coast.southern caribbean deep south.LOTS... of secret little islands that hold perfection.

  • I'm sorry for you if you think that Tortola has the best surf in the Caribbean; think again, this wave would be a nice wave but quite standard in terms of Barbados waves.

  • I live there !

  • the stuff of dreams
