  • @adamziaja Hahaha wow I'm lucky then!

  • Luckily the only surgery (not really) was putting a feeding tube in my stomach...I kinda like the sleepy stuff they give u, made me keep lifting my head cause it felt like it was 50 pounds

  • Yo Yo yo.. I didn't think you went to the same hospital. Wow. I had dr. mattei do one of my surgeries. Wow. Man. i didn't think i would see him on camera. and wow. and i didn't think you went to CHOP either. Wow. Just Wow.

  • Oh, you're at CHOP! Awesome! I saw Dr. Baldassano there, for years.. He has Crohn's too, so it made it a little easier to deal with.

  • Sister......I Really Like your Face.....

  • Hi this is his daughter Abby using his account. My brother went to the same hospital as you did!He has a colostomy. His nurses and surgen were very nice and they were taking very good care of him. 2 years ago my brother and my family spend all the holiday season and went went home on New years Day. But this has happened so many times though his medical disablity. He is now healthey with his ostomy and Im gald we had that surgery for him too.

Best of luck to you! Abby(:

  • keep your head up, Im 19 and ive had 3 intestinal surgeries so far and still have really bad pain, alot of ppl are saying marijuana works really good for inflimation and pain.

  • omg!!! i recently went through the same surgery you did in the same hospital as you and dr. mattei was also my surgeon!!!! how weird!!!

  • @supersmiles4miles Thats so funny! i asked a bunch of people from chop if they had him and they said no so I thought I was his only patient haha, but he's awesome:)

  • @LetsTalkIBD He is the best!!! i actually had an appointment with him today! but now i think my surgery was maybe not the one you went through because it seems like you stayed there for a couple hours; I had to stay there for 5 days after my surgery. But I had to do all the same things before the surgery (like not eating after 11) like you.

  • @supersmiles4miles He really is the best:) and this surgery/procedure was an "anal dilitation" just basically stretching out the end of my colon, no incisions were made so I didnt need to stay over night:)

  • @LetsTalkIBD ohhh... Yeah! My parents were really happy we chose Dr. Mattei after the surgery. I went through a illeumcecumostomy (big word!). they took out about more than 1 and a half feet of my large intestine which was inflamed and sewed the two ends together. =)

  • @supersmiles4miles Yup dr. mattei didma similar surgery on me, an ileosecectomy and a partial colectomy then later he gave me an ostomy.

  • I HATE IVs. For my surgery I was in hospital for 4 weeks. I had about 17+ IVs before they decided to give me a PICC Line.

  • I hope your doing well. Give us an update :)

  • You're so excited to go into your procedure! My hospital rooms looked exactly the same: the same ugly curtains and everything.

  • @UCVlog Hahaha I know :) this was a really simple one so I had no reason to be worried, plus I was excited to send my friends texts while I was still loopy
