Does anybody know of a fucking vendor in this game who has a buttload of coins? I'm selling Ebony armor, and it seems like the only way to sell them is to "wait" 24 hours. Even with a high speech rating and investment in these businesses, I can't seem to find anybody with enough money to buy multiple armor.
I'm level 20 and I have full dwarven armor. And powerleveling sucks because you're level goes up without your combat increasing, thus you can't defeat enemies
I'm perfectly content with my steel plated armour for now. In only lvl 20 do you bow how hard it would be for me to kill a bandit with that kind of smithing level. People Don't Be Fooled!!!! This is not a good strategy!!!! Play that actual game!!!
Seriously, smithing in this game is so fucking retarded. A smithing skill less than 100 is effectively useless. On the otherhand, powerleveling smithing to 100 gimps your combat skills so you get owned by bandits.
Obvious solution is use smithing to make incredible armor. Okay, great, except now you have the most powerful armor in the game and you've barely scratched the surface of the game. Hope you don't get tired of staring at the same armor.
@ryansnider The only way to max smithing without gimping your combat skills is to level it gradually. But by the time you gradually level smithing to 100, you will have already looted daedric armor from mobs/chests.
Hi anyone interested in getting lvl 100 smithing, getting that awesome daedric armor or dragon armor but you just dont know how to do it fast enough well just check out my tutorial on getting lvl 100 smithing. If you enjoyed it please like and subscribe :))
@kay619rey You go to a tanning rack with leather and then there will be an option leather strips. don't do all of them cuz you need leather AND leather strips
Since you felt justified in calling this a "Powerleveling" tutorial, (insinuating a Fast way of doing something) I'd like to see how you accumulate enough Iron to get smithing to 100 by making daggers.
If you went town-to-town buying out Every NPC that has it, you would either have about 150 hours of game-play getting the iron, or "resting" about 80 game-days to restock NPCs to buy from.
Maybe you should include how users can get this much iron.. other than using the console.
I did this and got 100 smithing i make any kind of armor easily. Whenever i am out in the game wearing any type of refined armor i get an average of about 3 damage per hit on my character (with master difficulty). This form of boosting really extracted the interest from my gameplay. So go ahead and do it, you have been forewarned... like so others can decide if it's worth it.
Another good way is to get the transmute spell, mine some iron, tansmute iron into gold, smelt it and do rings or jeweled amulets. Then sell them. smithing lvl + money and speach.
@RaNdOmNUb011 Actually, no. Just search for mines in YouTube. For example, there is the Bandit camp in just north of Whiterun where there are over 15 Iron veins, meaning about 30 iron ores. You turn them into gold and smelt them into 15 gold ingots, then make rings 2 each ingot and you get 30 gold rings to sell.
@smokeythedude23 they think it's too fast, or perhaps you can make gear that is over powered if done right. some people think this equals 'broken'... i think it equals a goal to werk toward but thats just me.
Hey guys I did one play through where I got my smithing to 100 and went up the light armour route but at the end of it I just felt like it was a waste of perk points so on my new character I decided to not get the perks.
I was wondering though can you still upgrade lets say an elven bow without the perk to make elven equipment, I'm more bothered about upgrades than making equipment
@Obsidiax i do it since i actually make use of those heavy ass dragon bones, and when i upgrade the things i make (especially Dwarven and Elven items) they usually skyrocket in prices so easy legit gold
Just hit 100 smithing. About 95% leather bracers. This has to be the easiest skill to level in the game. Seemed like maybe 200-300 skill increases total.
when i'm level 100 in smithing will i need just the smithing skill at 100 to upgrade armour and weapons fully or like for example light armour skill and one handed skill etc.
@JustACrazyDude Yes it does. I did side missions untill lvl 22 and then started the main story and in bleak falls barrow, bandits were bandit outlaws skeleton bacame frost trolls, and draugr became drauger overlords
@XxGAMES12xX Whatever you have done has differed from my methods, I am level 35 and I very rarely run into trolls and bandit outlaws, the draugr's do become wrights and overlords, but other than that its just the dungeons and locations you go to.
Can u enchant dragon armour or any any amour really to have the same effects as the arch-marge robe (+50 magicka, 100% faster magicka regen and 15% less magicka for every spell)?
Please correct me if im wrong but... if i were to power lvl in something like smithing, wouldnt i be suffering in the combat stakes? so i mean if i had to fight something that was relative to my lvl, i would get my ass wooped because all my levels are in smithing? I know you have the perk system, but you also need levels in the combat skills in order to gain those high level perks. Am i right or wrong? Please lets start a debate on this!
@nicklong27 your right. no need to debate :p BUT as you only level your smithing you can have better armor which increase your armor rating and thus your how much you take in dmg. if you only level smithing and nothing else you could have dragon armor at lvl 15ish, which make you very powerful in armor rating. ... damn it! this is starting to a debate xD
@rabbit4400 you two also forget theres several times where your dmg output skills require a higher skill level than what you currently have when you level up so yeah you won't always be able to level up a combat skill unless you go through 2h 1h and archery and switch off between them, other than that its either level up armor or level up a side profession
@TheComedation i kinda notice it now on some of my S' but that's about it really, now i feel all bee like bzzz lol, i only really noticed it on this minecraft vid i'm gonna post up
If you marry that camilla girl in riverwood, she gives you a share of the money her store makes in riverwood, even if you choose to move to another city. she gives me on average about 500 dollars each time i ask her, but you have to wait for the money to regenerate so you can keep buying ingots. plus obv sell whatever valuables you get while killing people.
@Hiragi My bad then, I've never actually made iron ingots, I've only made malachite/ebony/moonstone and a few others, there is barely any use for iron ingots, and leather powerleveling pays off better :P
@Tolrys it might be farming wise, but leather bracers is basically the equivalent of 6 strips which is a leather and a half, so if you buy 19 leather, you only get 12 bracers out of it, not to mention it includes more wait time since you get almost half of what you buy, where as ingots you can get 30+ a play almost and have plenty of leather strips so you can make 30-60 possibly 90 a day before having to buy again
@STINKEYsocks411 ive only been to riverwood whiterun and solitude so far, i had over 60k gold but i spent 25k on a house just to complete a sidequest lol
@gtrescgh i feel like it doesnt matter because your gold could be far more useful for potions and such than smithing. so its like you get what you pay for kind of scenario?
@tatortodd22 eh the thing is with potions it requires me to either favorite them or pop up the menu to use them, if i get low on hp i just hit z for histskin and get 10 times hp regen :)
thumbs up if you think they should make a smithing pack where you can smith new armor , sword, and even change the color of your armor :)
