  • Cute dog, messy house

  • Just goes to show you how protective Dobermans are!

  • That measuring cup looked pretty hostile!! How did it ever get in the house?

  • Maybe they dropped her severed ears into a metal cup like that @the vet's?

  • Cropping has been banned in Germany--the home of the doberman--and in most European countries. It serves no purpose, except to change their appearance. The doberman's natural floppy ears are fine.

  • @yahwhous It makes them hear some 30% better i think it was, Its especially good for police dobermans and it does keep them at a much lesser chance of getting ear infections

  • how long does he/she have to wear those ear thing's to make the ears stand up?????

  • It depends upon the puppy. Odin's ears stood up at around 2 - 3 months of posting. Some dogs take a full year, some never actually stand.

  • u put the ear things on to make them stand up...i thought they did that naturally????

  • Doberman ears are naturally floppy. Cropping is a procedure done to remove the skin from the outer corner of the ear. The dog is asleep and given pain medication. After about a week or two, the scabs heal and their ears are posted. During several months the cartilage hardens and the ears stand.

  • I didn't watch the whole video but watch enough to laugh out loud. I have a doberman that's coming up on 2 years old and I remember these days. Funny video!

  • He's adorable!

  • beautiful dobie puppy : )

  • what is wrong with his ears??poor dogD:

  • His ears are cropped. It is a fairly common procedure for the breed that makes their ears stand erect.

  • Troll!

  • read the damn info moron

  • He is terribly cute!! I bet he is a handsome boy now! So funny how they can find entertainment in something you'd never imagine!

  • Aww he is so cute! Grrrr bad measuring cup...lol! How old is he? I would have loved to have had my dobie boy's ears done when he was little, but it's illegal here....owell nice dobie!

  • Right now he is about 3 months old. Thank you! I think he's a great dog too! :P
