As an LSU fan, I remember this play...when LSU ran it in 2007, this immediately came to mind....Les Miles sure got a lot of credit for out foxing Steve Spurrier, yet this play was never mentioned. I also remember, this was the game in which Auburn smoked cigars on the field at Tiger Stadium afterward....that still ticks a lot of LSU fans off; but, my opinion is, Auburn kicked LSU's butt so bad that day that the LSU players should have been lighting the cigars for the AU Tigers.

@rickthet auburn smoking cigars is nothing compared to all the lsu fans that threw piss all over auburn fans on the lower level. happened at 2 games i went to vs. lsu, and now i refuse to be at the same stadium as lsu fans. most around here where i live are just fucking classless.

I was at this game. We were the only AU people around. Both teams were pretty bad. It was Tuberville's first year and DiNardo's last. I remember being so mad that AU was going for another field goal after they just went up 3-0. That play opened up the flood gates and AU blew out LSU 41-7. Tuberville, the assistant coaches, and even the players then had the AUdacity to smoke cigars on the field, which pissed off many coon asses. LSU claims this is when the rivalry was born. War Eagle!!!
