After reading some of the comments on this video, everyone seems to be confusing WordPressdotcom and WordPressdotorg. The dotcom version is free and you can change the themes as long as they are one of the themes provided. wordpressdotorg is for pros that want to own their own websites. You have to own the domain and provide your own hosting to use it.

unless you have paid for hosting? Lots of people come here thinking they will get to use a theme they like only to find out that they have to pay money in order to do that. And yes I do have my own site but they won't let me use it for just a blog but thanks anyways.

So how do I go about doing this? Do I need to setup a .com on Wordpress first? Since I've already paid for hosting what are my next steps?

Can you customize a theme once you download it (i.e., change the colors, pictures, banners, etc.) So if I found a theme I like that was blue could I change it to red and add my company logo or something like that? In Photoshop perhaps?

@yutubemedia Or you can use Awardspace FREE hosting, thats how I do my website. Look up on youtube for Tinkernut then go to his channel and type in DIY: Blog watch that video. The only downside is that you can do the .zip method for anything. I have to FTP those. But I can upload images!

@eyeheartlax WinRAR usually works well for me. The download is probably corrupt. Try downloading it again or use a different browser to download it.
