Very cool little fantasy flick. Just loved it. Would have been so great had they actually shocked the world on a whim. Lennon and McCartney forever. Love love love. Happy Valentines day everyone, and Miss Janey, Thank You for posting this up here. Made me day. Love to you sweetheart. PEACE.
This is film is brilliant, superbly written, captures the humour wonderfully and the sadness. Aidan Quinn & Jared Harris both inspired casting. A film that deserves to be better known and for me along with Backbeat & The Rutles at the top of the canon of films that capture the spirit of the Beatles.
:( just when Paul was thinking," Yes! This is like in the old days, we are hanging together, having fun- playing music!" and then Yoko comes in the picture. *sigh* It seems according to this movie that Paul was sad about their coldened relationship than John was(not so sure if that's true). I have nothing against Yoko, though.
YOKO BROKE THEM UP TWICE! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lovely Film especially liked the scene in Central park, The basic fact is that John and Paul did have a reconciliation after all the acrimony concerning business etc etc.Thank you so much for uploading this!!!!!
@Msemospongebob :Quinn discussed McCartney's reaction to the film in an April 18, 2004 interview: "Just after I finished the film, I went on holiday and Paul McCartney was staying at the same place. I met him and we became quite friendly. Later, he saw the film and fortunately he liked it. It would have been terrible if he'd hated it."[
Thanks fpr posting this. I'd been toying with ordering it but I couldn't really remember if it was any good or not. Aidan Quinn was excellent as paul.
seriously what a coincidence was it that a day in which paul is with john watching snl is when snl addresses the beatles to get back together. of course in the end it didn't happen but still...
I've seen 6 Beatles related biopics so far and this one is still my favorite, the portrayals makes them actually LOVABLE and I buy that I'm watching Lenny and Macca. It's a work of fiction but it could have happened like that because all of it is done so realistically and low-key. I'm being honest because GEORGE is actually my favorite and he's not even in this (John is second <3)! ;)
Thanks for posting this i really enjoyed it.Aiden and Jared both cracking actors.

If I remember correctly, this aired just days after Linda McCartney passed away.

Yoko wrecked everything. I don't care what anyone says. Linda didn't help either.
