@ivog2k10 You can use either or a combination of both. If it's USB you should already be ready. I just plugged mine in and it found the drivers, so when I went to PCSX2's joypad settings, you press the right button when you click in the box for the corresponding button. (I could probably make a video about it)

I prefer keyboard cause it's a clunky controller, and the buttons are kind of mashed in. But yes, you can.

@mafiamortal He probably got it my googling. But I got mine at projectblacktower, google it. If you don't like downloading multiple parts, I'd learn how to torrent. If you have the original disc and a DVD drive, you can use it as a alternative, I use a burned copy ;) The loading times inbetween areas may be longer, but it's not a big deal.

@stupidboyez Whats your PC stats you only gave the Graphics Card stats.

In short you will need atleast a 2.2ghz-3.0ghz PCSX2 team recommend a 3.0ghz with a good graphics card but I would recommend a 2.5ghz Dual Core.

Your graphics card looks good but if your PC doesn't meet atleast 2.2ghz don't even think about full speed.

@gothboy181 Yes you can. You can use some .iso compressing software like magicISO or something, but the easiest way is to grab the pcsx2 cdvdrom plugin called "EFP ISO". It can be found in the forums, or if you go to my setup video, look in the description, download the file called "My Folder" and it will be in there.

EFP ISO is very easy to use, just insert the disc, select "Get from Disc" and let it compress to an .iso.

You'd need a 2.5ghz core 2 duo or Athlon X2 to play this game at full frames.

@KingofPho75 Using an ISO, I couldnt get it to work off the disc. Ensure logarithmic Z, alpha correctioning and enabled at all times in the GSdx plugin. Also might try a different SSE one. Also use the latest, i think 0.1.16 is the latest now.

@Axl4554 Not having a dual core really brings down the speed but you can pull this off with that 3.2 alot of games dual cores are recommended because you can have PCSX2 use multi threading(allready enabled if you use 0.9.7 build)which uses both cores to gain performance in games.

Well, KH2 needs 2.5ghz at the very least for some people to get full speed, and ~3ghz to ensure full speed is always constant. I myself had to overclock my CPU to 2.8ghz to get this to work.

You'll have to increase your speed settings and/or decrease your graphics settings to get a higher speed.

Also disable 8bit texturing, it doesnt work for ATI graphics cards and causes problems.

memory card problem means you're not running the game as the administrator, pcsx2 doesnt have security permissiosn to modify the memory cards (add save files to them) so it wont let you play.

Run the emulator as the admin, or give it full security permissions.

KH2 requires roughly the same specs as mine to run on defaults/low speed settings, and maybe 2.5ghz duo core to run at speed settings.

Im not sure if you'll be able to run this with a pentium dual core, these are below duo cores and I'm not sure if your cpu will lack pcsx2's duo core settings.

Also converting your disc to an ISO will help, and will significantly reduce the loading times.

When I configurated it and started to play, the game instructed me to press the left analog (as it is in your video) but I don´t remember I configurated such a key. So I tried to press every single key on the keyboard, but nothing makes the hero move :-(. BTW - jumping works.

the analog is simplified in KH/KH2, so it only moves in 8 directions (N/Ne/E/Se/S/Sw/W/Nw)

So you can set it to W/A/S/D on the keyboard

W=North / W/D=Ne / D=E .... etc.

So just set it to the keyboard it will work fine.
