The WB I have isn't from haler but the thick black glue is the same. This glue seems to have been applied heavily on purpose to support the top of the bottle and the injector. The WB is, essentially, a battery box modded with cutouts to access the bottle and gobs of black stuff to make the battery & bottle fit. It works as advertised, is small enough to be discreet.
