  • i want to buy one of these

  • @holasoyneto I m selling one built and enclosed how much r u willing to pay?

  • good stuff! Please could you tell us how can we make it WITH FILTER? where is the circuit or any instructions for making it?

    Thanks!

  • WAAAW APC+Filter.... would you share the filter schematics? :D

  • The filter really makes it....gives it a much wider range of sound than the plain APC.

  • much better than a basic APC, less fart like, to be crude

  • This thing is sooooo beast!!! I want to mod one up to my binder and play it at school!

  • Oh my dear god please teach me how to make this... I have been trying to make my own synths for so long but I just simply dont know how! D:

  • @Polaf3456

The APC is the easiest DIY synth out there. There are many tutorials and kits available.

  • @Karlfalcon Actually easiest DIY synth is 4093 NAND synth.

  • 0:53 Sounds like Alien (or Predator, I forget which...)

  • I'm loving the filter you added here!

  • Badass

  • Cool. Are you just using passive RC filter?

  • sounds like something to talk to aliens wit,

how much you want for one?

  • again... this is amazing!!! Schematics?

  • that is so cool!!

  • @puffhandy Do you make them to sell?If so,how much? And could you make one for like,A Guitar,So i can get weird sounds from my guitar,or something?Basically,Making a guitar pedal. But cooler.

  • i don't get it what's atari about it

  • great work! great noise... i just made an apc but loved your filter... can you send me schematics?

  • Hey Puff, I wonder if you might be interested in building me one of these in a mint tin I have? It would end up in some pretty cool 'hands' - my friend Dieter Moebius (half of the legendary German electronic duo Cluster). let me know if you might be interested - I'm not too handy with the old soldering iron! Tim Story (storypod at aol.com)

  • I WANT THIS !!!!

  • hahaha I love the packaging!

  • that's great

  • Nice! I may have to build one of these to hook up to my arduino. If you used some digi pots and an accelerometer, you could control it with your hand motions :D

  • thats awesome! :D make me one im a music producer lol

  • Hot damn that filter makes this thing killer.

  • how to find it on ebay?

  • A tutorial sometime maybe? please? :D

  • @legoboy098 Nice comment, does that make you feel better about yourself and your life, or lack thereof?

  • @legoboy098 please go f yourself

  • @legoboy098

Sure means a whole lot from someone named "Legoboy."

  • could you send me the schematic pleassse?

  • @BEANSKEEZ It's an Atari Punk Console, you can find the schem anywhere; then add a Sallen-Key resonant lowpass filter after it. You can find a schematic of that at thesquarewaveparade, in the links, schematics section.

  • 1:12 - 1:21 sounds like a creeky door

  • But where are all the Altoids???

  • 1:20s sounds like the predator. sweet build. sounds like fun.

  • thats hella sick

  • So what are the uses of these things? I've been seeing them everywhere... can they be plugged into keyboards somehow?

    please excuse my ignorance.

  • @getbacktoworkmatt pretty sure they're just for fun.

  • well you can modify a keyboard so that this can be used as a rapic shooter, but that is so complicated...lolyah

  • Comment removed

  • @getbacktoworkmatt You can use it in whatever way you wish. That's up to you to be creative with it. Anything with an output can be plugged into an input, whether that's a keyboard, mixer, fx box etc...It's the same deal in any of those cases. You'll need a 1/4" to 1/8" adapter if the input you want to use is 1/8 " though, so you'd need to look at your board's connectors. Most "pro" synths use 1/4" & sometimes XLR connections. The cheaper ones use 1/8" connections..

  • yeah i'd like to know about that filter as well. and also i'd like to see the insides! i'm going to build one tomorrow in an altoids case, still trying to see if i can fit it all in there...

  • An Altoids??! That's the smallest synth I've ever seen.

  • nice one! what's the filter circuit?
