  • At 1:21 it look like it is front wheel drive

  • Not to bash either. But the whole "Electric charges for 2 hours and then 30 mins runtime" thing is just silly. I've got 3 3S batteries that I charge from my car. Giving me about 6 hours of pretty much constant drive time, apart from when I switch out the batteries.

Whenever I'm in a little crowd driving our RC's, electric RC owners have far longer "up-time".

I'd recommend everyone to get one of both tho ^_^ Each are amazingly fun in their own specific ways.

  • @krissford100 ffs stop having a Electric Vs Nitro its so imature i have both a savage Flux Hp and a 4.6 love them both fed up with fanboy

  • Comment removed

  • @thebashersplace at 39 what wheel and tires are those

  • i Love this fucking truck!

  • have any problem new shock...?

  • how long does it last until it dies ?

  • The truck is only as good as the man driving it ;)

  • 0:56 lots of fun but its a diff killer good vid

  • what bats u using ??

  • @rcboys123 he's using 2 zippy flightmax 3s 5000MAH 35c

  • FACT Electric is: fast and powerfull Nitro is : loud , dirty and is OUTDATED THUMS UP

  • @krissford100 thanks for the thums up....i agress 100 percent....

  • @thebashersplace yeah i had a nitro car before and tune it like i should and all that but Nitro is Outdated if it starts its too lean if it isn`t to lean it cuts out if it doesn`t cut out it wont idle Nitro isn`t anything more than problems !!! Brushless is the Future

  • @thebashersplace NITRO!!!!!!!

  • @thebashersplace NITRO!!!!!!!

but it is a very cool movie!

  • @krissford100 That is all correct... But nitro is not outdated.

Nitra also can be fast and powerful! You are rigt Electric maybe is faster, but they are "boring". I like Nitro because they are lod and you have to adjust them...

Everybody got his preferences. Btw i have Electrix and Nitro. I like both!

  • @RcFelix1993 Not outdated ? Look at Traxxas for example they haven´t released a single nitro car in loooong time and electric is not boring it would smash nitro every day in the week and twice on sunday ,but everybody has their favourites.

  • @krissford100 That is right. But they are not outdated. There are High end nitro engines wich are also fast and powerful!

And Nitro is so cool because they are loud and you have to adjust the engine. Not only plug in and finish!

    Everyone got his preferences :)

Btw I have Nitro and Electric and i like both!

  • @krissford100 not all ways i took out a bandit vxl with my xtm nitro xcelerator with the 21 cubic inch motor

  • @monsterink101 Dream on if it makes you happy!!!

  • @krissford100 im not trying to get in an argument but im just saying everyone is different i like nitro and eletric some people are the other way around

  • @monsterink101 Yeah thats okey some people like nitro , some people like Electric but people around are saying you have to charge every 5 minutes its wimpy ,slow, expensive and that is wrong.

  • @krissford100 u forgot to mention the savage flux sounds like a drill on steroids almost if not as loud as gas

  • @expertcreatormo lol -_-

  • @krissford100 Not really.... some people link the real engine aspect..... its really fun to tinker with the engine.

  • @KanonFingerboards Yeah people like to tweak the motor over and over, using 1/2 hour to get it started and after all that work, it shuts off, yeah thats fun -.-

  • @krissford100 Not really.... some people like the real engine aspect..... its really fun to tinker with the engine.

  • @krissford100 Yeah but with electric you gotta wait for the batterys to charge!!

  • @kx85kid12 yeah, u have to wait 30min for 45 minutes of run time, thats about the time it takes to start a nitro car !

  • @krissford100

You have to wait a few hours for a battery to charge and you get about 30 min run time.

Where with a properly tuned Nitro RC truck you can start it in a couple seconds and guess what, no charging batteries! you just simply fuel it up and drive. easy as that. Sometimes you have to tune your truck, sure. but that just makes you get even more involved with your truck, and the hobby. some people enjoy the noise of the engine running. hear the power! and nitro can go just as fast.

  • @krissford100 theres nothing like the smell of nitro in the afternoon and plus it dosent take half an hour 2 start my redcat racing tornado s30 it normaly takes less than a min. 2 start the 2 downsides 2 nitro is u have 2 buy more parts and its harder 2 maintain BUT that just makes nitro more fun. NITRO FOR LIFE!!! thums upif u agree

  • @kayd747 Ain't gonna get many of those.....

  • @krissford100 the whole reason im in the hobby is because i love engines and mechanics, and the idea of a mini scale engine running at 40,000 rpms is simly amazing. the actual part of driving the truck is just icing on the cake. nitro makes the hobby unique, and involving. Electric is just like a really fast radio-shack car. nothing unique about it

  • @allbikes9 oh really ? what about an e firestorf flux doing 125kph on foam tires with a 3cell lipo ? aint that amazing enough ?

  • @krissford100 yes i agree, electric will smoke nitro. yes electric is more powerful. Im just saying that im not into rc's for speed, im in to them becaus i love the mechanics of a nitro. And all the reasons you say nitro is bad, is good to some. so...

FACT nitro is : loud, smelly, and involving. Electric is: too quiet, boring, and uninvolving. (see how that goes both ways?)

    maybe its a maturity thing...

  • With my 2x50c 3s lipo's , I keep on sheredding my wheel hex hub splines. If you run 6s with these baby's you really need to do the 24mm Hex hub conversion and run baja wheels

  • 6s is retarded fast, put the XL chassis conversion on it to help keep the wheels down. Integy slipper pad hangs on better than the HPI...smoke them hourly. Gonna try the TCS 1/5 scale conversion this week.

  • theres no point of traxxas with this truck

  • @rc4wd101 hahaha how true it is!!!

  • when the hpi flux came out it completely changed the face of savages

  • @coolboy1091 not only savages but how rc trucks are looked at by people looking to enter the hobby, people always say, it's electric well it must be slow lol little do they know, and when i open up that monster there faces melt lol

  • @thebashersplace I get mine tomorrow, I cant wait! Doubt top end will match my Rustler but they look mental acceleration!

  • What's the speed on the flux? How fast is it out the box?

  • @civicmaneg6 out of the box ur looking at 100 KPH or 62 MPH

  • @thebashersplace Your shitting me it's that fast? I love HPI I still have my first Savage 21 which I swapped a 25 from a Ofna motor in so now im looking at the new rigs from HPI 1/8-1/5 scale. I like their 1/5 scales though the Baja 5B and the 5T.

  • @civicmaneg6 HPI kicks ass bud, i'm a big fan becuase of all the good luck and the crazy good customer service. ya man the flux is that fast on level ground. it can do a double back flip without moveing a foot. i'm no longer buying nitros becasue the savage flux changed my whole look at electric, now i only buy electric. super powerful, no nitro can keep up, it doesn't break, no buying fuel, no combustion engine crap lol the best of all worlds lol

  • @civicmaneg6 type in savage power, check out the hpi dude testing the 6s batterys. Back flips at 60+Kmh

  • @madrx2 I know i'm still working the nitro out of my veins. I love my nitro/gas trucks, but soon i'll mess around with the battery jump offs.

  • @civicmaneg6 yah bud, nitro is kewl and all, the sound of them is pretty sweet but it doesn't even touch the electric trucks. I was a little cautious of the electric at first but after the first 15 mins i loved them and i don't think i would go back to nitro, or buy any more nitros, just use the one i have.

  • @thebashersplace Yeah I feel you nexy year i'm going too get me a Flux I love HPI they were my first and will remain that way, but I might have too check out one other truck just don't know which one yet.

  • nice video.flux has tons of power.but i d never trade my nitro savage to get a flux.nitro is a whooole different story;)

  • Do you not miss tuning the nitro engines? Taking the tiny engine apart and what not?

  • @SVPrelude i am not a fan of nitro any more because electric is so trouble free, no grease, oils, or fuel, i work on and store these in my house and to not have that smell around is a good thing, electric has a ton of power and nitro won't be able to keep up, with good reason behind it, it's combustion, which takes a second to understand what's going be electric is right away, no tuning no more internal combustion problems. nitro is more of a chore, where electric is just fun.

  • @SVPrelude i don't need to pick apart these little tiny engines, it's not fun, just pisses me off, lol. i'd like to pick down a chevy big or small block or 6 or 4 cylinder engines, not these little tiny engine s that make it very hard to do. this is a hobby not a chore lol,

  • Holy shit... So much power...

  • how many parts did you break ? :D Thanks (because I'm asking on buying a savage flux hp ^^)

  • @TheVxl not alot but what i did break was my own fault, from just bashing the crap out of it., but one thing that broke alot and wasn't my fault was the diff pinion's, be sure to get a set of hpi's bullet proof diff system. i have a video on the diffs, check it out

  • Sweet vid! Cool clips and great music. :-)

  • you see what meth does to mini-trucks?

  • does the stock version have lights?

  • @boatwake nope

  • If u can remember wat did u 1st wreck when u 1st got the truck cuz my 1st broken part was the diff (Only had the front tires moving and not the rear)

  • want a flux so bad my savy 25 is gettin a little dusty runin 5 years strong

  • first picture is awesome !!!

  • love how the pics kept up with the beat.

  • How long does it run on a charge?

  • if i am gunning it and really toping the truck out at full throttle it will last bout 20 mins at best...which is good. if i am taking my time and keeping the truck at about half throttle and under maybe closer to 1/4 throttle, i can get about 30-40 mins maybe.

  • I get 30min on two orion 5200mah 40c and they take an hour to charge. Better then any nitro truck ive used *l* took a bit to get the hang of her but man its an awesome trucks.

  • Use thunder tiger Li-pos. Best you can buy. Not to pricey either. JMO

  • Yeah, it's why I don't understand why people play up the ass for the Maxamp LIPOs when you can get Flightmax ones for over 1/2 the cost. You have been using yours since the day you bought them and they are still going strong. Anyone thinking about getting Maxamp, don't do it, go for another brand.

  • i agree 100 percent

  • @thebashersplace

    yep same here!!!

  • @gestekoe thats what im saying ive compared max amps to a half price battery the half price battery has better run time and they have the same specs

  • yep still going strong, havent lost any bust or charge at all, same as the day i bought them

  • Are those zippys still running?

    thnx

  • wow nice video!

  • Its the Flux 4WD

  • yep

  • do you have any driveline problems??

  • does it have a center diff?

  • very nice editing, your crazy driving with 3 wheels!!!! lol

  • Cooles Video!(Das Material muss Schreien hähä!)

  • 5 stars for AC/DC YEAH!!! cool video i was goin to gett the flux but then i decided to get the baja5t

  • im not a big fan of hpi.. but id have to say that truck would smoke a traxxas any day lol.. sweet truck(especially with those paddles on it)

  • @rubinmeneps no think of the e revo brushless !!!

  • @rubinmeneps idk summit is brushed...

mine will have mamba monster, i'd imagine it would be the same if not better

  • GO NITRO.

  • watch my other videos, i'm now on my 4 nitro and i will never have another one. electric is more powerful esy to work on, like 1/5 the maintance, no buying fuel an the list goes on, lol i'v played with tons of nitros and after having this i'll never buy another

  • I just bought one, and It came with 3s lipos. I've heard from people that with 6s it's easy to lose the pinion. Should I red locite the pinion for 6s? If so, then would i be stuck with it forever?

  • i love 6S lol i wouldn't go back, and i'v never used red lockite on it i know alot of peoiple that do. red lockite is strong and is more powerful then blue but the screw still comes out, you can still remove the screw when ever you want. lockite just helps stop the screw from vibrating out with a little force with an hex driver it will come right out

  • Thanks! Can't wait for my flux, should be here in a few weeks. There's been alot of snow in Canada lately, do you think I need to waterproof the flux before running it in snow?

  • lol i live in st johns newfoundland canada, and yes you should 100% water proof it for winter, it will ruin if you don't. by some plastic dip and dunk your servos in it and wrape some plastic around the the non-moving parts. also make sure you dry it off before you put it away for the night. hope this helps

  • @thebashersplace Thanks, and hows the stock radio? does it glitch alot? I'd hate to have it run away at 50mph+... And I've read something about shimming dffs. Is it really necessary?

  • lol ya that has happened to me at 50-60MPH lol and it hit a fence but didn't break lol...ya the bashers place is my forum that i created awhile back and alot of people find it useful, there are alot of guys on there that will help you out. Diff shimming is a must on this truck. it will deff be worth wild and the way that this truck is build, diff shimming is super easy, takes like 5 mins for front and rear You should buy the bullet proof diffs from HPI, i'v had them for awhile and there amazing

  • do you have your punch setting turned all the way down? or are you REALLLY good at controlling your truck mid air? i have a flux also and with the punch set at 60% less than stock its still a beast.. rocking 2 3s turnigy 5000 mah 40c lipos.. soo its insane.. good video thanks for sharing.

  • lol haha i have the punch and control as high as i can get it with out over heating anything and/or blowing something up. haha. you have the same lipo;s i have only mine are sippy's. thanks for the comment

  • Ive heard some rumors but i wanted to ask you is the reciever/radio controller any good in the Flux like does it glitch at all.

  • i have never had a problem with it running away on me and sometimes i go pretty far away, as long as the batts are charged you should have no problem with it at all. it wouldn't be any good for racing, you will need a 2.4ghz for that but if your just bashing around in your yard and in dirt piles like i do, then this receiver is fine.

  • I am a die hard fan of Traxxas but I'm not biased like some ppl are. I brought my Summit last month and I absolutely love it. Its slow as hell but I do hiking with it in a mountaing bike park with large boulder and I LOVE IT!!!! and it makes me do some exercice while following it. BUT that HPI Savage FLUX is making me crazy, It looks soooooo powerful!! I'm considering on buying on next spring.

  • it`s really fun, it`s super powerful and would be the thing for you on some cool trails, you won`t be disapointed

  • The Savage Flux maybe is such a great basher but it's still no match for an E-revo Brushless Edition because of it's speed the E-revo can reach up to 65+ mph Savage Flux only 62+ and pretty much an E-revo can do just about anything or everything that a Savage Flux can do

  • the truth about the flux and the e-revo is, that no truck is better then the other, they are made with different purposes,, the e-revo is not made to do heavy bashing and that is where the flux shins, the e-revo will break where the flux will keep going. but the e-revo as better handling and corning where it is a better racer. both trucks are the same truck on different platforms. there is no better with anything for rc`s, it`s about what your using the truck for and the money you want to spend

  • mate u have no fuckin idea aye all u do is just look at flux videos and attempt to relate them being shit compared to the traxxas models

  • "mate" lol.you must be one of those traxxas fags, dude i didn't say traxxas was shit why do you come watch the videos i make and say dumb childish shit. dude i run a rc forum and i know all about the e-revo and the flux, i do know what i'm talking about, i'm sick of you fuckin traxxas asshole saying stupid shit on my videos, just watch and if you don't like it move the fuck on with your life. your still livin in a high school bubble gum world ur just a peice of shit that is to poor to buy a flux

  • well...they have the same ESC/motor combo

also, 65+ and 62+...that plus sign at the end leaves a huge range of speeds....so you're saying they both can go the same speed, but it is possible to go slower with the savage.

hell, they both could go 500mph by your max speed analysis.

  • ok i don't know where your getting that from but ok.

ya both trucks have the same motor and esc but way diifferent platforms and design flaws and boths trucks are made to do different things, depending on the lipos i know that the flux could go slower but so can the e-revo, sience like you just said that have the same motor esc combo

  • Sorry, my comment was meant towards the first posts of the Traxxas fanboys.

the ERBE and savage flux are both awesomely cool RC's.

  • lol that's ok bro, just a lil mis communication. ya i like both trucks as well, but the flux is what i like more because of it's a killier basher but at the same time it's a pretty ok racer to so i kind of like it better, lol.

    which truck do you have?

  • Wish I had one...lol.

For now all I got is a brushless Slash, but, I will probably be getting either a sav flux of ERBE for my next RC...eventually, being a poor college student sucks =P

  • lol i know what you mean bro i'm in medical school so i know what money being tight is like lol, what i don't was got a loan from the bank and bought my rc then i made a 500 dallor rc into a 2000 dallor in up grade parts and then i sold that first rc for 2650 bucks lol so i made 650 bucks of that one lol

  • Rock on man...nice video.

  • Dude sikkk vid my brotha!!!

    Awesome job!

  • thanks bro!!!

i love acdc and the savage flux so together it KILLIER lol

  • THUNDER!!!!

  • haha i love acdc.

i throught it would be the perfect song for such a crazy truck lol

  • Acdc are amazing :D

  • I love this video. i really like the sequal you have put together as well, good stuff, the savage flux is the best. keep the videos coming.

  • what is the name of that song and group plz?

  • the group is ACDC and the name of the song is thunderstruck

  • what is the name of that song?

  • Cool video, would work better with more tight shots haha, 4:31-4:33 ... OUCH

  • haha i know what you mean but i didn't have enought footage to do that, but i made so it would still be good.

lol i just toosted to together because i really wanted to get some footage of my flux up lol and i couldn't wait to get more haha

  • have you had any problems with the diffs

  • oh ya i have boken 17 pinions so far but i got sick of buying them so i called up hpi and they sent me out a set of there bullet proof diffs and they are crzy, good luck at breaking these new ones.

much stonger and tougher, instead of a 13 tooth it's a 9 tooth, so it's quite a bit beafier. and a week ago i destroyered the trans into 1000 peices but one is on it's way, i bough it on ebay for 40 bucks

  • ahahahah holy shit dude how did you break the transmission LOL oy yea by the way do you think i will have any diff or transmission problems on 4s lipo
