What I am saying is that he may have wanted a nicotine fix through an e-cigarette to kick a more dangerous habit of chewing tobacco or snuff. The vapor coming out of that e-cigarette is nothing more than what is found in any common humidifier. People inhale medicine through asthma inhalers would that be considered smoking as well?

No asthma inhalers use a different dug, but there is something called a nicotine inhalator which does does contain nicotine to help quit smoking. But the nicotine inhalator is expensive and owned by Johnson and Johnson, one of the same companies pushing for this to get banned. Look up nicotine inhalator, the only difference is that it doesn't create a vapor, and tell e if that's smoking.

Actually the main ingredient, propylene glycol, kills germs. "The vapor from as little as 0.5 mg of propylene glycol can kill nearly all the microorganisms in a liter of heavily contaminated air within 15 seconds."

That would mean e-cig smokers should never get the flu. By the way, that is from experiments from 1942 Univ. of Chicago.

Also, propylene glycol is safe food additive per the FDA. The FDA does not approve these e-cigs cause it would destroy pharma profits.
