  • Yeah the five-seven is stupid easy to load. I love it!

  • Nice vid Neo. The only previous vid I'd seen of this gun was by (get ready for trolls sneering) FPSRussia. With the FiveSeven, he had a decent grouping at 100 meters. Not too shabby. I told my wife, if I could afford this gun, I'd frame it and hang it on the wall just to look at.

  • A 2x4 is not a good penetration test...a milk jug is not a good stopping power test...and 5 yards is not a good accuracy test. That weapon is capable of much more than you're giving it credit for. It is an amazing pistol. Good choice.

  • How is shooting a milk jug a "stopping power" test?

  • hey a cool way to simulate a head is a coconut filled with jello.... check out my vid on it

  • they do not make the .950 JGD

  • Good video man, one more subscriber.

  • Try the .22 TCM.

  • Holy shit, scientology is advertising on YouTube now. What has this world come to.

  • How much you pay for it ? Very Nice gun

  • @Deepsouth209 FN Five Seven's are $1000-$1100 new. They are not cheap, but worth the price in my opinion...

  • Great video! Thanks.

  • good vid! I want one of these. Keep it up brother!!

  • hornady doesn't make a 22lr or 22 short.

  • i thought they had a 20 rd capacity

  • @njmvermont In some states there are restrictions on capacity, like CA.

  • What, no 20 round mag??

  • @TheMootScoot lol nevermind

  • @TheMootScoot yes it's a 20 round magazine and there is a 10 round extention for it and it doesn't really change teh length of the mag that much its really great

  • 22lr

  • @198338910 actually it's 5.7X28...not .22

  • @198338910 its called a Five seven for a reason...

  • remember that any gun when shot at the water can only penetrate 5-6 feet down and still have the ability to kill someone.

  • and in counter-strike and the jungle

  • same size as a baby's head.

  • NIIIIIICE... THAT'S, because it's the gun of Sam Fisher and Leon S. Kennedy !!!

  • Awesome!!!

  • .45 or 5.7x28mm???

  • ?@jacobninja25 what does it look like to you?

  • @ELEMENTSFAN666 i meant witch cal would you chose.. not the cal of the gun :P sorry it kinda sounds that way haha didnt realize it

  • Cool informative video thanks

  • Do you know where I can buy guns online?

  • @TheSecretOperations google it ;)

  • FN rocks!!!

  • are you kidding me? 5 yards thats like 4.5m and you shoot like that?

  • Not to be a smart-ass but Hornady does not make .38 S&W

  • I want one so fucking bad.

  • very nice video probabley the best 5-7 video ive seen. i credit people who know what they are talking about.

  • A quif is trapped air in the vaginal canal

  • That is not how you pull a trigger, damn jodies haha

  • I have no idea how and why noone's came up with a carbine that takes this magazines - great capacity, sweet little round - varmint shooters should love it...out of a longer barrell should be a very flat shooting round and should pick up a good deal of extra energy than the pistol barrell. I know the P90 is popular but a more standart looking rifle that takes the pistol mags would have a good market, I think... and it's still a whole lot better than an empty hand should the situation call....

  • @shmuckling AR-57 is a standard carbine that uses this round. Honestly, it's a bit underpowered. It's made to penetrate armor, but the damage to a body once it does isn't as impressive, I think. I dunno, needs more tests.

@neo19209 I'd like to point out, your grouping is pretty terrible. Not trying to insult your shooting, but as a result, your comfort with the gun means more than its accuracy. If you want to see real accuracy, bench fire it or use a mount and hit that target at 50 yards.

  • @Demmrir I'm on the "Five-seven pistol magazine" page and you seem to be on the "body armor penetration" page.... to clear the fog up further - I'm thinking a rifle/pistol combination using the same magazines... While many such combinations exist, they are usually in traditional pistol rounds and one in the 5.7x28 would make sense as it is a very flat-shooting pistol round. Additionaly, the Five-seven pistol is already popular, so youd only need to make a rifle for a readily existing market.

  • @shmuckling Oh, you brought up the P90 and disliked its looks so I thought you'd be fine with a carbine that uses the same rounds.

I didn't even know there were any carbines that used the same magazines as handguns at all.

  • @Demmrir I have to agree the P90 looks much more normal:). Glad to be the guy to first tell you:). Yeah, they're usually good for home deffence because of the pistol rounds, cheaper to feed than most normal rifles, still better control than a handgun and you only need to carry one type of mags for both firearms...

  • i wish there was a 50 cal pistol with HMG 50 cal rounds

  • Nice Vid my man... Nice piece too!

  • It would of been nice to see the penetration test with an fmj bullet. You should keep some fmj's on hand, just in case.

  • 9x25 dillon

  • What's the velocity of this round? We use a ruger .204 for small animal hunting, and it's very damaging lol for such a small round

  • Nice video, only thing i have negative to say is your shooting grip is completely wrong, You're holding it like its a revolver and for accuracy and control it's all wrong man. But never the less good video

  • @0:58 are you fucking bullshitting me? i do better than that at 50 metres with my pistol

  • @chuckles731 Like anyone cares?

  • @FiveTwoSevenTHR look i just want to say his shitty shooting isn't doing this good round justice

  • @chuckles731 True but I wouldn't worry about it too much, just know that this handgun is capable of few inch groups at 100 yards and be happy. :)

  • thats a lot of penetration bro... u might want to get laid

  • Mw3

  • @hummerdude123 stfu cod fag

  • Very Impressive! Thanks for the video. I want one now. Hey what's the actual weight with a loaded clip? Use for Conceal Carry?

  • @ApacheJG It's called a magazine.

  • that was one hell of a 2x4

  • guys, i want nuke pistol cartridges

  • theres no way you had a straight face when your were mentioning "over penetration"

  • I want one

  • Tumbling can be caused by several factors: Diameter to length ratio, axial RPM rate to velocity, torque, transitional media density ratio, concentricity of the bullet, Cd values, CG shift, and several others. Whether or not the bullet actually tumbles in its performance envelope has to be determined empirically or mathematically. A bullet which may exhibit tumbling given a performance envelope will not do so when the envelop changes. SMG vs Handgun.

  • @deusimperator You seem really worked up over someone's video. I don't see him claiming this was for science.

  • Hornady does not make ammunition for any of the Weatherby's with the exception of the .300. They do not make any ammunition for Remington's Ultra Mag line of cartridges. They do not make any ammunition for either Remington's or Winchester Short Mag or Winchesters Super Short Magnum line. .327 Federal? There are a lot of modern standardized non-proprietorial cartridges for which Hornady does not make ammunition.

  • Are you a dumbass? Human head simulation: a watermelon? Stopping power a water jug? Penetration a 2x4? Recoil simulation? This video is a joke! Talk about a know nothing talking shit. Any 9mm Para does just the same and so does the .380 ACP. I realize this is being done on a small town cheap Mexican budget but I didn't see any science behind the bullshit.

  • Thanks for the video.

  • from my country!!!!!

  • @airsoftFARBbelgium Belgium or Netherlands?

  • Call Of Duty MW3 made me look this gun up

  • @AmoredeAE86 noob

  • @xxweaponsxx123 my feelings are hurt so bad ='( an illegal just ruined my life

  • @AmoredeAE86 Why illegal?

  • @AmoredeAE86 sure it did

  • he talks and looks like napoleons dynamites pal!

  • Hes not even holding the gun correctly... im sure he knows more about penetration on other categories but i dont seem to believe thats guns are his thing

  • @amefeyerer shut up

  • What is a flyer?

  • @snowfox1995

That's when a bullet strays from the normal grouping.

  • @snowfox1995 its a bullet that kinda strays off from the grouping sometimes its the bullet but most the times its the shooter

  • Comment removed

  • @SupremeAmerican There's no reason to debate the effectiveness of an overly expensive unavailable round. Im not a 45. purist, but if I want effectiveness, I'd grab a 45. over any other.

  • @eas26 guns are dangerous

  • @SupremeAmerican No, bad people with guns are dangerous.

  • @SupremeAmerican Not as much as throwing knives.

  • this is my most fav gun of ALL TIME :D

  • its true, most gunfights take place at about 10 yards.

  • @MCPlegomaster I would say even say closer, I can't recall the actual number I heard back in training because it was some time ago.

  • are you a cop? O.o

  • Awesome how those rounds can penetrate body armor.

  • Hornady doesnt make a .45 GAP :P

  • wrong again kid, " youtube.com/watch?v=lpnnh-0YEbk&feature=related "

next time you chat shit on youtube do some research first, you will look like less of a tit that way

  • I almost bought this firearm, but when I was doing my research, i found that a 10mm would do much more damage at a further range due to the tumble that ALL .223 ammo is burdened with. Don't get me wrong, this is an amazing round. But I went with a Glock 29SF 10mm. I'm not a Glock fanboy, just so you know. I would rather have a Springfield any day. But the 10mm is just more powerful than the 5.7x28mm.

  • Actually the .223 and 5.7 do tumble

  • @meanman185 They do, just disregard the know-it-all's comment. Thanks for watching and commenting.

  • @meanman185 Possibly after hitting something harder than soft tissue. The bullets are weighted to tumble once the flight path is interrupted but most shots into ballistic gel show the bullet not tumbling but sometimes altering its course. Either way the bullet wounds from a high velocity small caliber round are pretty darn substantial.

  • you have no ideas how bullets work, they are going so fast they dont tumble, they expand

  • @ryisfly1356 read a book dumbass

  • @thelegend22 LOL!

  • @thelegend22 learn physics, you have no idea what you are talking about, the only way they can "tumble" is if they are weighted off center, and even then they don't tumble as you say' they spin around a different axis, it is insanely hard to get a bullet to tumble, nevermind the fact that it is useless because it takes away all the expanding properties of it. you obviously don't know what you are talking about, you just think you're hat shit because you have a 5.7

  • @ryisfly1356 go research about terminal ballistics and how bullets are made.....

  • @ryisfly1356 try doing more reasearch an u will find that it is you who knows nothing. :)

  • @ryisfly1356 Wow. The wrongness of your attitude is matched only by the wrongness of your information. There are plenty of types of bullets that tumble inside the target... is this your first ballistics lesson? There are plenty of videos that show bullets tumbling through ballistic gel with a high-speed camera. You have no idea what you are talking about. Even the word he used, "tumble", is specific to a term commonly understood among firearm enthusiasts. Your "physics" only exist in videogames.

  • this is the new M1911

  • I may be late, I dunno, didn't read all the comments, but I'm pretty sure hornady doesn't make a 7.62X38R a.k.a 7.62 Nagant. I recently sold one of these revolvers, but I was only able to find 3 manufacturers of ammo for it; Fiocchi, Prvi Partisan, and Hot Shot. If you want a cheap little revolver that is different these are pretty cool little guns. Ammo is expensive though. Roughly $30 for 50 rounds.

  • High velocity rounds aren't about the wound tract caused by the bullet itself. They are all about the wound tract caused by the hydrostatic shock. The human body is mostly water. Water compresses only minutely. So a high velocity round passing through the human body sends out shock waves through the tissue disrupting blood vessels and rupturing organs.

  • Thanks for the vid.

Love this gun. I'm getting one.

  • WTF THE BULLET THAT THIS THING SHOOTS IS JUST OBSCENE!!!!!!

  • @ZzRvXzZ What do you mean by obscene? Does it say profanity or something?

  • @AdmiralGST

    THIS WEAPON

    ITS TRYING TO SEDUCE ME

  • @ZzRvXzZ K

  • Would be neat if the cops used that gun as service weapon...

  • I love my Five-seveN but the ammo is damn expensive, so I hardly shoot it.

  • @ninjast4r How much does ammo cost?

  • @skrivbok Depends on where you go. A box of 50 rounds can cost $25-30, but you can get twice the amount of 9mm ammo for that price.

  • Modded finger......

  • wat part of tx r u from

  • thumbs up for Belgium weapons from FN

  • That bullet is just sexy looking...

  • My girlfriend never has a problem with my over penetration.

  • @ruscccpsia2010 because your probably shooting with subsonic 22 rounds

  • @ruscccpsia2010 As a gay guy, I was turned on everytime he mentioned penetration.

  • @ruscccpsia2010 outstanding

  • @ruscccpsia2010 she doesnt have a problem with everyone elses over penetration also

  • the 5.7x28mm even in a armor-piercing round does not preform as well as

the .223/5.56x45mm FMJ round which can punch 1/4" steel

the 5.7x28mm out of the most desired weapon for the use of that round a p90

cant penetrate 1/4" steel with AP rounds.

the 22-250 in a FMJ has a scary bite with velocity 4,224 ft/s

    The 5.7x28 has a velocity around 2,350 ft/s

  • thats some gross ass water bro its yellow

  • At 5 yards I prefer to just throw the gun.

  • @jklyank Hopefully you lube it first because it is going straight up your ass when the guy picks it up.

  • @AdmiralGST Experienced?

  • @jklyank No, common sense.

  • @AdmiralGST Troll?

  • @jklyank I'm gonna stop replying to someone that can't type more than one word per comment after this post.

  • @AdmiralGST OK

  • 1:21 was that pee? xD

  • @asrob1001 family sized jarate

  • nice video you look like r lee hermey killing that watermelon

  • They dont make rounds for my 300 RUM

  • Comment removed

  • that's a double stack mag?

  • @emkplayboy6 Yes, double stack mags

  • @neo19209 wow nice man how many it hold in the mag?

  • @emkplayboy6 20 rounds, 30 with the mag extension

  • There are rounds on the market WAY better than the FN SS195 or SS197. Look for Elite Ammunition....2600fps and 405fpe energy from the Five SeveN pistol!

  • Thx to sam fisher I fell in love with this gun almost 10 years ago. Now that I can buy pistols I had to settle for the glock haha, a stack wasnt part of my childhood dreams.

  • Good video, man. Well done. Nice job on all the demos.

  • LOlololOLol ^^ 60000 out ouf 114000 views are from the fbi =D

  • Such a fucking beautiful pistol. FN PS90 and Five-SeveN are my dream guns

  • Watch when mw3 comez out, this video will be spammed and trolled wit TONZ of cod commentz, actin lik they kno shit..

  • @xaioguy73 ur the guy actin like u know shit...

  • Actually i dont. :D

All i kno is that itll be spammed by cod kidz and shit when mw3 comez out.

  • Hey man. By the looks of it, is the recoil not bad when you actually handle it in real life?

  • I usually never comment on the vids that I watch. I want to say you have done an outstanding job with your explanation and demonstration of the 57 pistol! keep up the good work!

  • is there a silencer for this pistol? or is there a built in version?

  • This gun would be perfect for special forces such as SAS, as they go for double tap headshots, which you want accuracy, low recoil, high velocity, penetration and the large magazine is an added bonus.

  • I believe Hornady doesn't make a 7.62x54mm

  • @xX534thAPSXx You are correct, sir. They have x39 all day, but no x54mm NATO.

  • OMG you must be one of those resistance members in Half-Life 2!!!!!!!!!

  • hey it's coming to MW3 :))

  • Also, your grip is absolutely wrong. With two handed grip your supporting hand (left in your case) should be angled about 45 degrees towards the ground and your left thumb should be pointing straight ahead with your right hand thumb right on top of it pointing the same way. Your left thumb should be riding along the top of the lower receiver. By not doing this you have a HUGE energy leak from the left side of your pistol making recoil control next to impossible.

  • @GmanSig220 Go away, people like you are so annoying. If you want to try to teach people how to shoot, make your own damn video and give lessons. Oh that's right, 14 year old kids who play CoD and think they know everything about firearms can not purchase weapons.

  • Horrid 5 yard groups, you need to take some training, you should be shooting through the same hole at that range.

  • velocity ftw :)

  • Nice shooting

  • very nice shooting man I wish I had a 5.7 They are still a bit pricey for my taste

  • yes youre head looks like a watermelon

  • So, you 'penetrated' that melon, eh?

  • do immigrants have the right to get a weapons permit?

  • @kittykatro only if you're a US citizen
