@Indiani16 Format is not the issue, it's files. About half of my files will not play properly on AT&T ROM's (ROM's that support HDMI output), even with 3rd party video players. This is definitely a software issue, because the issue is not present in AOSP ROM's (ie. CM7 and MIUI) or certain ROM's that do not support HDMI (to an extent). I had other Infuse owners test these files (which play fine on the Captivate and AOSP ROM's), and they can all confirm the issue.
i have similar problem. My video that was cut with infuse's camera in 720p, also very laggy when playback/rewind. All other videos that was uploaded from pc works perfect. Even 1080p
