  • BEST SHIT ON YOUTUBE!!

  • Most chilled out music ever.

  • this is truly spell bounding this song just changed my life and became the best thing i have heard sence fugazi

  • Got to see these two in NH back in 07. Great set. Not that it matters, but are they an actual couple?

  • @thinqtanq

Yes, Amy Farina is the wife of Ian Mackaye.

I only know that because of an interview hosted

    by the PunkCdSampler.

  • You can hear so much Fugazi and punk influence in this but yet it's different in it's own ways.

    This really is unique music.

  • damn, I miss Fugazi.

  • Ian looks like he's having a ball.

  • dude this song is so awesome. This is the first I've ever listened to The Evens, but i've been a Minor Threat fan for years

  • do these guys still tour?

  • guy and girl

  • When will people realize that guy with an s is plural and all-inclusive, meaning both male and female?

  • who doesn't want a marriage like this?!!! pure beauty.

"im alive, you're alive.. we make warmth when we desire"

  • Excellent

  • it's like a fugazi/pj harvey shotgun wedding

  • Brilliant song!

  • Amy sure can play a snare. great stuff!

  • I think you all need to stop thinking about "punk" music as a sonic definition and start thinking about as a definition of ethics, principles, and values. Ian has evolved beyond the aged music have his past and suggest you all do too.

  • awsome i like it.

  • All you kids are idiots and wouldn't know good music if it punched you in your cocks.

  • All you kids are idiots and would know good music if it punched you in your cocks.

  • ha. Would. you know you can delete your own comments?

  • youre an idiot

  • youre an idiot

  • haha actually they had a kid a few months ago. i like the evens though, not as good as Minor Threat, etc. but what can you ask for?

  • I could ask Ian not to torture people with this garbage. but hey kids will still show up because its "Papa Ian" King of straight Edge

    What a snooze fest

  • ian mackeye and his riff are the only good things about this.

that's all i can say to you.

  • I agree......it almost sounds like very bad minutemen.

  • i like fugazi better than minor threat but Ian was great in both bands.... and the evens...

  • is he playin a 1950 style Gibson melodymaker???? holy shit i used to have one, same color but guess what... some one in my band was walkin out of the garage and it was leaning on the amp and i dunno what hppend i dont think he hit it but the wind blew it over(lol) or somthing and the peg head fucking SNAPPED off.... i fucking died... thats like a $500 git fiddle... shoulda put it on a fuckin stand DUDE.., mFUCK

  • dude, melody makers are fucking sick, but that's an old danelectro. funny, very similar tone...

shitty about the old one. you should think about getting a reissue...they're dirt cheap...

  • I think it's some kind of danelectro baritone guitar. lower tone than a standard issue.

  • increible, soy un fan de Fugazi.

Pero The Evens estan super caaabrroneees

ojala algun dia vengan a Mexico, que lo dudo mucho.

  • Amy's got great voice:)And Ian rocks of course;>

  • Just saw them last night and man what a good set, pretty awesome crowd involvement and vibe going on! Sweet jams!

  • cool im a huge fan of ian and fugazi and today i got tickets to see them when they come to my city

  • Her voice reminds me of Grace Slick from Jefferson Airplane.

  • Does anybody know what kind of guitar he's playing?

  • It's a baritone guitar...

  • no. It's an instrument of satan.

  • I thought thats what it was, but I don't have a lot of experience with those

  • It's a Danolectro baritone tuned in A. He let me play it when he was in town.

  • Damn that's awesome

  • lucky...

  • if I , were a pawn, i'd be gone

  • that's ponk! thanks ian and amy.

  • wow thats really really really bad ! sad ! outta time!uncool, and the longest 3:38 min of my life ,why is he sitting ? lame !

  • he's sitting because he's rocked harder than any man alive for 20 years straight and played over 1500 live shows.

  • Couldn't have said it better!

  • I love me some Neil Young, but he was sitting down when he was in 1967

  • yeah ...he was sitting ..sorry, i was just being mean ...while sittin at the computer :)

  • la wea fomee

  • Reminds me of Ut, but more melodic. Ian's a pretty interesting guy. Even in this band he shows how influenced he was by Lyle Pressler, as a guitarist. How could he not have been?

  • when are they gonna be in LA?

  • i was at that show and it was wonderful.

  • Absolutely amazing, thanks a lot.
