  • this is where my school at john dewey high school

  • @uniqdymand Okay!

  • @JamaicaQnzFreak come on a skool day and you'll see me im the kid wit the long braids :)

  • @uniqdymand I barely do the West End Line that...its boring now w/o the M running!

  • @JamaicaQnzFreak i c ur point yea it was stupid of the MTA to change the route look at the new M route carefully notice how both last stop seem pretty close to one another DOESNT LOOK LIKE A FULL CIRCLE

  • @uniqdymand Yeah i like the new M also. I got the annpuncements the 2rd day it ran in service!

  • not in the world but in the us

  • ppl im just kidding i was just making a scene, i think the r160s is one of the best rapid transit train in the US

  • tats the the slowest thing ever lol

  • Thr R-160's are not slow......the D train just left that station so thats why the N train was crawling slow!

  • the r160s are not slow r u kidding me bro, it only goes up to 55 mph u smartone, ur pretty dumb my friend and nyc subway service speed is only 45 mph u nerd

  • 1st of all....theres no reaosn for you be calling me names. Its a subway system you can't have trains going over 50 mph especially they have interlockings. 55mph is not slow. 2nd off all I know the speed limit for the subway system. If you find the R-160's to be slow then don't ride them!

  • uhhh, wrong there. On the test track @ the Rockaways/ Jamaica Bay Stretch, the R160s hit 65 mph. Most subways in the US are governed to 55mph to reduce collisions and derailments, as some of the biggest subway systems in the US had serious accidents due to speeding. NYC Subways top speed is no more than 65 mph. And uhh.... its only 45 mph to a certain extent, then they are allowed to hit 50+

  • tats y US rail tracks r rubbish causes when ever the train go fast it just derails and everybody dies

  • Are freaking kidding me with that stupid ass comment? U.S. rail tracks are rubbish.....then don't ride the U.S. rails then if they so rubbish. We have safety guidelines engineers and T/O's got to follow!

  • LMFAO!!

  • is it tat funny?

  • Dont count on that, several years ago, the london underground had a derailment near waterloo station, killing several people, over dozens injured. There has been derailments all over the world. Not every track in the world is perfect. Do a little bit of research before you talk like you know it all, ok? :)

  • i hate the london underground anyway lol

  • and when i meant not in the world doesnt mean im talking about every country, only few think before u talk caitsith

  • It was only slow there cause of the switch timers, considering that layer of track is derailment prone.

  • You fucking bonehead, R160s are fast as fuck, more than fast enough for RailRoad Service, if they was ungoverned. They are governed for safety issues.

  • shut the fuck up u Assapopalus u dont know any better

  • I don't know about them, but I do know very much about these cars and they're capable of, and them being slow in general is not how I, and many others would describe them. And I know you're making an ass of yourself right about now....

  • huh lol

  • for the love of god, stop talking. You are just making yourself look stupid.

  • tats an bullet train lol

  • Yes to R-68 and Altsom is the propulsion sound, Kawasaki made thr R-160's!

  • So thats a R-160B not a R-160A!

  • R-160B is testing on the Q and W trains!

  • When look @ the video again....let it load, then fast forward to where the N train is creeping up the interlocking tracks. Pause the video, on the 1st car it should tell the you number!

  • That's a R-160B

  • Oh ok!

  • oh ok and i dont think and R40S couples with an R40M..maybe an R40M and R42 together..ive seen it done on the B and Q trains

  • Ok thinking about it your right....I must got the subway cars wrong....I did see a pic of it though!

  • what about like R44/R46 and R62/62a's being coupled together?

  • R-44/R-46 can't be coupled together b/c that's two different type of train....maybe a R-62/R-62A can be coupled!

  • coupling different car types together can be problematic since no two-car types are exactly. it can drastically reduce the performance of the train, which could be why NYCT stopped the practice after GOH. R40Ms and R42s were basically the same cars, which was why they continue to ran together up until their retirement, but i was surprised R32s and R38s could since they were built by two different companies. i wonder if the R38s damaged the R32s.

  • Looks like the N ran on the D express from 9 Av to Stillwell Av and why didnt the N leave first, its on a G.O. its better for the trains on the G.O. go first. How bout one time at 5 Av and three Brooklyn bound F trains arrived just before the E to WTC finally arrived

  • Do they ever mix the trains in New York? Cause they do that in D.C. all the time.

  • If you mean coupling two trains of the same kind, yes they do that. R-32/R-38, R40M/R-40S and R-142A/R-142S!

  • yeah i remember this station from the r1 fan trip back in september. we were there in an unairconditioned r1 for 30 minutes. we ended up goin through the yard tho and i think the wait was worth it :)

  • I remember that also. I had some A/C in the car I was in and yes it was well worth it!

  • i hATE those timers i hope they all die and burn in hell

  • Oh stop it....I just wished the N train had left 1st!
