Aadhi hi hai, Shivling ki tarha thandi nahin. Mere Jaagne se tere dil ko agar shanti milti hai to mein jaag bhi gaata, laikin, Shanti ko tu thandi ling le kar kur bhi kya sakta. India is and will always be the center of religion. Evey religion has got refuge there. Thus, Islam will have to find an Indian identity, and free itself from the Saudi fundamentalist ideology. Hazrat Ahmad, Sufi walis are distinctly Indian. Also, it is said that Iman Ali had a lot of reverence for and in India. Thus these other traditions of Islam should be encouraged so as to dilute the fundamentalists. And to some extent it is happening already.

Smodass I know many Indian Hindus whose relatives are living here n when they come to Pakistan they talk about Hindu, Muslims relations there n it is same here. We live in harmony. Yousefbhai, I have many Pakistani friends, so my problem is not with Muslims, but rather the belief in the destruction of Kafirs that Muslims carry. Hinduism is virtually wiped out of Pakistan. Sure there is harmony between Hindus and Muslims in Pak, but Hindus left Pak since their life was made miserable there. A truly tolerant society would let these people stay. You seem like an intelligent man, and I know a seed has been planted in you....it will grow over the years.
