She can't use advanced cooking techniques because the average person couldn't implement them in the creation of their own dishes. And, really? You checked her background? And for those of you who are being critical, and sometimes downright mean-spirited, if you think she is so bad why dont you get on youtube and do better instead of just being critical of someone doing something positive,

I use cast iron. I am not perfect by far. I just wanted to point out that a well seasoned cast iron pan eventually works awesome. I don't even use any oil when I wilt my greens on cast iron. They cook beautiful! I add healthy oils for flavor and health after cooking. Cast iron is awesome!

-Lose the dog (who cares, we want to know about food, unless he's cooking)

-And please tie your hair up (pony tail just slinging all over the place)

-And always start off by washing your hands (even if its just for 8sec)

I read that non-stick is good as long as the pan is in pristine condition and the teflon has not been scratched. Apparently, once the teflon has been compromised you run the risk of the release of carcinogens when placed on high heat. I need to find the website where I read this.

we think alike.... when i make eggs, I'll do 3 whole eggs, and 2 egg whites. You need the yellow center to help digest the protein.

Also, to never finish your meals at an over-portioned restaurant is a great suggestion, 5 smaller meals is a lot better than 3 big ones. Small things go a long way to helping stay lean.
