Anime was getting stale for me, this revived my enthusiasm for it. This is the first time I've seen real innovation in Japanese animation for a long time. I really hope they start doing more things like this and stop reusing the same stereotypical animation models.
@AssholePatrol That's why you gotta really do your own research to find these gems. The mainstream media/audience likely won't recommend this type of stuff to you either because it's too 'weird', or they simply don't know it exists. I only found this video after searching for information about Shinichirō Watanabe out of my own leisure.
If you like this check out some of their other collections like Amazing Nuts! or Sweat Punch. Also if you like Morimoto's stuff check out Noiseman Sound Insect.
Juno Reactor made most of the Soundtrack. They've released some pretty good tunes in the past. If you like Electronica, you should really check them out.
They've colloborated alot with studio 4c in the past, made music to games, and the soundtrack to Matrix Reloaded.
Both. They're doing a tour right now and it's being shown in theaters in Japan. I believe you can get the DVD from the Beyond Shop (although that might just be Genius Party). I'm not sure if this one's been officially released on DVD yet.
