pacman the devils have a few diehards but will always be hampered by the fact the rangers have been around so long... there are so many people in nj (including myself) that r rangers fans due to heritage... my dad's a diehard and no matter how terrible they can sometimes be, i'll always be a ranger... i mean they have 3 teams less then 2 hours away from their home arena and to tell u the truth idk if they would still be in nj if they werent so successful

the franchise takes good care of em. theyre great. its the fans that dont do their part. the devils sold out one game this season which was against the red wings. i got to be there and that place can make visitors like me shake haha. i wish they could sell out every game cause devils fans are l-o-u-d.

well the fans that show up do. i just hate to see a team in first place, and only 13,900 fans at a game. like this last one where marty shut out the panthers. just imagine how crazy and great it wouldve been if they really packed up that building. ive been to devils playoff games that sell out, youd swear the building was shaking haha. i know you most likely know what im talking about. i hope as the playoffs near more and more fans start coming.

The attendance has been awful on weeknights here in Jersey for years now...

Actually, I went to four games over the last four weeks of last season, along with Game One of the playoffs. These games were against the Wild, Hurricanes, Lightning, Hurricanes, and Game One against (Yeah, again. :P) the 'Canes.

Four of these five games were sellouts of 17,625, with the only game not selling out (The first 'Canes game.) drawing 17,018.

i was at game 1 too! haha 4 1 win...i remember mottau and elias scoring. dont remember who else did, but i remember it being packed but not sold out. well all in all, great organization, loud fans, and a great team. makes for a great stanley cup contender this year especially. at the beginning of the season i called a blackhawks vs devils stanley cup final. we will see.

HAHAHAHA the best goalie ever maybe after ron hextall or something I bet if i played more games than any other goalie in the league id eventually break some records and maybe even win a cup or teo if i played long enough.
