Everyone with the 'not enough space' problem: it's a new thing. The partition you access only has 1 MB, so you can't (and shouldn't) put rootfs and uImage on there, JUST your firmware bin. There's a thread on the x360keyforum .

i know this is a n00b question but i found out my micro sd card is filled with a hidden linux partition, so should i be bootting into linux and adding my firmware files that way?

It appears the Chip is a Linux format so apparently the files are actually on it, we just can't see it via Windows.

Thus all that needs to be copied is the Dummy.bin which there should be room for.

I think the reason why its empty is because we have the new batch? a problem im having because i have a new batch the files are too large to place onto the sd card. Does this mean i just set it up with out the files being in there and update externally threw my hdd?

I like how the website selling these things says "Jungle Flasher not needed" yet you need Jungle Flasher in order to get your DVD key...

And I love how the help files show 2 files each time, but since my product came with an empty SD card.. now wtf?! I can't find a site at all which tells where to get those 2 files that are sposed to be on the disk.

@fiorenzo090 download jungle flasher 1.89 and there sould be a file called firmware and one called original firmware open it in jungle flasher and spoof your drive key make sure you first make a kopy of your drive key so you dont loose it when you drag your dummy file in the wrong section and spoof it as fffffffffffffffffffffffffff because then your screwed if u didnt save the file properly. also you sould save orig to your sd card and your dummy to your drive with the same key

when you are saying update your console to the latest firmware before doing all this at 5:05, are you saying to update ixtreme lt to the latest firmware, updating your drive the latest version of the manufacturer's original firmware, or just updating the xbox dashboard firmware update that microsoft gives out. please get back to me, its the one thing thats keeping me back from doing all this

Awesome video. Installing your device is straight forward. A lot of the confusion here is from obtaining the firmware onto the SD card. A seperate video exactly how to do this would be remarkable. I would like to purchase your key but the firmware to SD card has got me stumped. The instruction on this video are not so clear.

@desire2333 yeah just put the new firmware on the root of a usb drive and boot up you xk3y with the usb drive, xk3y will update itself and tell you to reboot your xbox when finish

@Trizzi56 yeah you need JungleFlasher to make a dump of your OFW or else you get stuck in Pass thru and if you boot by you power button its will make a error "OFW Not Found"

This video shows the firmware files for the slim console (e.g. source_dummy.bin) magically appearring in a folder (extracted with the Lizard).

Can you please explain how to extract the files if we don't have the "Lizard" or explain that it is not possible to do this if you can't extract the firware with 3rd party tools...

actually wow i actually did it. I have a question tho. i did exactly what you say i opened the post fw file for lt 1.91 and put it in the target, hit spoof source to target and everything went fine. but the question is. my drive is flashed with LT 1.91, and since im putting the Original firmware on the microsd, and hence the x360key, wont i need to flash my drive back to stock? or can it still be 1.91 with the microsd having the ofw on it?
