  • Thumbs up if you thought the Gorilla was going to hug a human baby!

  • I was there a couple times, a crazy gorilla rams into the glass from time to time

  • AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • All are saying ooohhhhh, but no one says, lets break this fucking glas so they can be free.

  • @BIH2010BIH tell me when you are going to do it ,so I see you in the news! fucking cunt

  • At times, I feel that animals take care of their young way better than some human.

  • @krazie04 I am sorry for your mom

  • i thought its gonna hug a human child lol

  • 0:26 I thought the black woman was gonna stab someone. lol

  • im so glad you excused that person in the way bashildy :D

  • @goodday87 Thanks goodday, as am I and the 466,000 viewers :)

  • @acrobatsutr couldnt agree more :)

  • Don't say chuck norris because he'd accidentally murder one...

  • @OoMESToO Chuck Norris >=D

  • The only badass that could wrestle a gorilla is the young scwarzenegger

  • FUCK ZOOS let them be free dont hold them captive for peoples personal pleasure. fuck everyone who contributes to this

  • I hope alot of you realize that they aren't CAPTURED, it's not Russia...they were hurt or injured animals that were taken in and put in the zoo for recovery...alot of them cant even recover enough to go back in the wild

  • Sooo cute. It is just so sad that they are in captivity like that. :(

  • LET THEM GO TO FACIST CUNTS!

  • @kylekyle22 Would you rather they were released to the jungles of rwanda where brutal militias kill them and sell them for meat?

  • @BVargas78 no :( not rwanda :(

  • @kylekyle22 the problems is, there are hardly any places in the world today were gorillas can live in peace. And free from poachers and hunters. At least these gorillas are safe, and seem to be well treated.

  • Jeez I just figured I am so dumb at times I really thought at the beginning that those apes were in the crowd of people looking at the gorilla. gotta go and lie down somewhere..

  • @grooverheliboy haha, i had the same feeling for a moment, i was like, what the...? But then noticed the see through barrier.

  • Hahaha I love the fact that some people think humans are the only creatures who can show love, just listen to the reactions when the gorilla hugs the baby gorilla.... nobody would have that reaction if it was a human mum with here child?

  • You guys are asses. The San Diego Zoo is the best in California, maybe in the entire nation. They take care of their animals very well and their conservation programs are helping endangered species all over the world. Also, if these gorillas felt trapped/unhappy/scared, do you think they'd lean up against the glass so close to the crowds of people? Gorillas are intelligent and human-like. If they're upset, they will make it very clear.

  • Someday they'll probably evolve into one of those smart monkey's seen in planet of apes..if humans keep teaching them "intelligence".

  • awwwwww they're hugging eachother because they're trapped and scared D:

  • haha the big gorilla is mimicking the people acting like he has a camera.

  • Gorillas are the best wild animals that need to be out in the open. not in the zoo like pieces of art. They are cute and all but they need FREEDOM ppl. UNDERSTAND THAT AS A HUMAN!!!!

  • @itsedgaro Zoos are no longer just for entertainment, they are for research and breeding as well. Endangered animals must be kept there if there is no other option for them. OF COURSE they'd be better off in the wild, but that if often not possible. The bad part is not the zoos or the zoo-goers, but rather the people who do not respect them in their native habitat (through poaching, logging, pet trade, ect.)

  • I love how the one gorilla is just sitting up against the glass just messing with a branch, like no one is behind him.

  • awwwwwww

  • Child? Fail!

  • Anyone else think that this video was about a gorilla hugging a human child?

  • @ItzthaBizness Lol. Hell yea

  • beautiful creatures in jail... awwwwwww

  • @StardustMatter I know right! Aww a little baby and a loving mother.. in jail. I HATE ZOOS

  • @AlexFoeShizzle If you hate zoos, you are extremely uneducated about their modern purposes. Zoos are not what they were in the 50s, zoos and universities are sometimes the only ones working to help and sustain endangered creatures. They are not just for entertainment.

  • @StardustMatter untill they rip your face off

  • @StardustMatter A zoo is hardly "jail". It's a very safe, protected environment. In the wild most animals never stray from a very tiny area that they lay out as "theirs". Properly run facilities, like the SD Zoo, perfectly recreate this. The animals feel no sense of being "penned in" and they live far longer and healthier lives, free of the risks of living in the wild.

Do YOU feel in "jail" when you're in your house? Or your hometown? No. Yet you spend 90% of your time there, don't you?

  • @StardustMatter Yes, let's release them back in the wild, where poachers can shoot them for money. Zoos are conservation programs. They do release animals back in the wild if there is no endanger of extinction. Unfortunately, with gorillas, there is.

  • ...this is imprisonment.

  • You sure the child gorilla wasn't hugging his gorilla dad. :P

  • @laughz77 It was the black skin, and you know it.

    Around blacks: never relax.

  • That melted my heart! Wait.. What the hell?

  • How do I always end up on animal videos??

  • OH MY FUCKIN GOD ITS KARLA.

  • @thespartan771 YOU'LL BE IN MY HEART, YES YOU'LL BE IN MY HEART FROM THIS DAY ON NOW AND FOREVER MORE.

  • @Elliotvisualeffects HA! That's funny. You define african american totally wrong. But I see from your expletives that you don't like to discuss, you like to argue.. Ciao have a great life.. might wanna check out some anger management classes!

  • @Elliotvisualeffects Eskimos seem a very homogeneous culture as well.

  • @Elliotvisualeffects you are so full of it! There are plenty of hair color differences in african americans in this country... as well as eye color... unbelievable

  • @Elliotvisualeffects Very interesting. But how does interbreeding with neanderthals introduce DNA that allows varying hair and eyes colors?

  • there was 2 awwwwwwwwwwwwww moments

  • I awed at the same time as the people on the video haha.. it was weird.

  • "baby goes to mama" AWWWWWW..

"justin bebier goes to mama gorilla" awwwwwwwwww get the fuck out of here lol

  • thats so cute <3

  • am i watching gorilla videos xD? how did i get here

  • and the crowd goes awwwww!!!!

  • How dare you record me and my mother without her permission!

  • the gorilla mom clearly said boy get over here, let me see your ears , didnt i tell you to clean them dam ears, ahhh find me a twig

  • Everyone their is like "AWWWW", i guess they never have been hugged b4 lol

  • damn i must be bored as hell! I just started watching these gorilla videos!

  • @acrobatsutr I'm doing the same thing lol

  • @acrobatsutr haha that's funny.

  • @acrobatsutr I like to watch ghost videos. It keeps me awake all night long. You wil never get bored when you're scare to go to sleep. I'm scare of being possessed by demons. LOL

  • @acrobatsutr If you're bored imagine how they are.

  • I have to laugh at all the eco geeks saying this is cruelty and taking them away from their habitat...They are bred in captivity and protected from the fucking real villian in the story which is hunters....If zoo's weren't around a lot of species would be extinct now, then I suppose they'd still fucking moan, ''ooohhh we need to do more to save these animals'' fucking joke

  • Yes,set the animals free and let them be killed by poachers!!!

  • These gorillas shouldn't be imprisoned for life. What crime have they committed?—Oh, they interesting to humans...

SET THE GORILLAS FREE FOR GODSAKE!!!

  • @kewlfonz These are often born in the zoos and so do not long for the habitat they could have grown up in. Also, zoos are doing really good work in protecting and conserving the species. In China, 80% of the world panda species is in one forest so if that was destroyed or disease killed them all, they have back ups in a panda conservation facility which helps to breed baby pandas.

  • this is so true animals in zoos can never enjoy a normal life.ppl that think they are helping to preserve the species by paying for this kind of "entertainment" are dellusional.its the same as if you were housed in jail your entire life and never allowed interaction with outside society.these animals are majestic and have complex social strutures and even if you were to return them to nature they have pretty much been made to where they wouldnt be able to survive. a zoos as bad as the circus

  • are the other two trying to block your view.you can clearly see the one on the left hold its head in discust or thats the way it seems to me.

  • Don't let this video fool you folks, Gorillas are actually nasty, vile creatures. The time I went to the zoo, they threw poop at us. It was actually way more entertaining than this was.

  • The only thing that bothered me a bit was when the woman said "do you wanna see SOMETHING else?" I don't know why....it just did.

  • @RaGeQuiTixRePuBlicaN

They're such majestic and beautiful creatures... LOL

  • We live in a world were we get told wot to do, how to live, only see wot they want us to see eg papers, new. Illuminate has control if you don't no wot/who illuminate is then look it up it's important and info you should no!

  • zoos should really only house endangered species for the purposes of breeding

  • FUCK THE ZOO.

    Money rules the world. YUCK.

  • when i was in france, my family and i went to a monkey park. and the monkeys were not kept in cages, they were roaming freely onto the paths and in the forests! the bigger primates, like the apes such as chimps, bonobos and gorrillas were seperated from the people by a small river, living natural on their own large island. THAT is how monkeys in captivity should be allowed to live, not kept behind bars! it's just SICKENING!

  • @SheWolf8765 Why aren't we more concerned about human beings living under a dictatorship? Lets get our priorities in line.

  • @MrFerty08 I'm not talking about humans, i'm talking about animals in captivity.

  • @SheWolf8765 So you don't consider people under a dictatorship in captivity? Do you see the parallel?

  • @MrFerty08 look, i know what you're talking about, and yes, it's terrible. but i'm just saying i wasn't talking about dictatorship, and i think that apes in captivity is just as terrible. that's just my point of view, ok?

  • @SheWolf8765 Okay I understand.

  • @SheWolf8765 So you don't think people under a dictatorship are in captivity? Don't you see the parallel?

  • Zoo animals have all their natural desires met, I'm sure they'd prefer being in a zoo to living in a shrinking forest surrounded by poachers.

  • its not lyk the zookeepers r beating them 2 perform anything, it looks lyk they r living normal life 2 me and if anything zoos r helping 2 save different species of animals. Hunters and Poachers and all those other murders r killing them off for money. Yea people are constanting watching them but at least they arent killing them and selling them 4 greedy, selfish reasons. They arent n a box with no air. They have room, oxygen, food daily and each other. I feel they r somewhat safer here.

  • @augusthassnipes Do not tell me to "think" before I post comments, you should *think* before you post such condescending remarks. I am aware of the situation of these animals, but I still do not like the "exhibition" part.

  • @VanKlounch

Well I feel sorry for you for believing in evolution, I mean... We have proof that we came from monkeys cuz your probably an ugly ass neandruthol or whatever the fuck they're called, gtfo

  • You can achieve your greatest goals, simply by visiting random youtube videos and typing with the caps-lock on.

  • @1yaoming1

.... Your obviously fucking retarded, what the FUCK does evolution have ANYTHING to do with an ape hugging it's child? Just gtfo, please.. Or just stfu and watch this, cuz you can't prove that we come from monkeys through evolution, we are 2 chromosomes away from being identical, but a banana and a mosquito have similar DNA as well... So dies that mean we come from bananas and Mosquitos no.. But your evolution ass might believe it so idk

  • @MellowMidnight281 You Creationists are so adorable when you're mad and confused about evolution. Bananas and mosquitos? I feel bad for laughing...

  • Just think, a 2% difference in chromosomes and we'd be sitting on that side of the fence.

  • @Water4Jeremiah 30% difference and we would be mice

  • if you dont believe in evolution after watching this... go away

  • This fucking sucks, I feel for those gorillas. Maybe they need to be shown "Planet of the Apes" movies to lead a revolt!

  • Proof that animals are sometimes more human then human

  • VEGANFAG ALERT.

  • im sure this person didnt upload the video for people to hqve discusions about the gorillas habitat

  • Gorilla watching a gorilla at 0:26

  • CAESAR = REVOLUTION.

  • I want her to hug me ;(

  • we should just nuke all the zoos

  • Since when are Gorrilla offspring Children...

  • Watching and staring at imprisoned animals in a zoo is actually disgusting. Yes it's nice to see a mother hug her child...so go hug your own child. Stop imprisoning other animals and stop supporting this cruelty. How can people be entertained at the misery of other animals? They are meant to live freely in the environment.

  • @TheVeganPoet1 I think you would find more help to your cause if you targeted zoos with a history of abuse or evidence of it. The San Diego Zoo has kept their Gorillas in world class facilities, and I witnessed no health or behavioral problems.

  • @bashildy

Definitely agreed with that. And how can people appreciate the wild and nature if they can't observe and and learn about it up close. I think that these animals are representatives of their species and helps us understand why we should be good stewards of our world.

  • @TheCarlScharnberg Their Mission Statement: "San Diego Zoo Global is a conservation, education, and recreation organization dedicated to the reproduction, protection, and exhibition of animals, plants, and their habitats." Notice the omission of "Entertainment" from their statement. Reproduction is the first statement, the goal being to breed and not take animals away from habitat. Ones that are taken are generally found injured and rehabilitated. I don't find your comparison valid.

  • @bashildy You tell'em. Thumbs up!

  • @bashildy There are so many zoos that don't have great facilities for animals to breed, protect and etc. Most of them are disgusting. Thats why the guy before me is so against zoos.

  • @bashildy Oh, if they didn't tell you it was for entertainment, you mustn't think it is. And the circus is for reproduction of elephants. Got that? Run and tell everyone now.

  • @bashildy yeah we have the same kind of zoo here in sweden and its beautiful they rly take care of the animals with loving hearts but I cant help but feel a little off by all those humans looking at a creature that is so close realative to us for their amusement:/

  • @bashildy *clap clap clap*

  • @bashildy .... Owned xD

  • @bashildy I concur my friend! I despise most zoo's, but I ADORE the San Diego zoo. If it weren't for them and zoo's like them, many animals would die, because they simply couldn't function or prosper in the wild. These uneducated people need to put their passion where it counts and that's protesting Circus's.

  • @bashildy

but why do they want them to breed? Doesn't that just create a new generation of animals separated from the wild? and i hate to nit pick, but doesn't exhibition qualify as entertainment?

  • @TheCarlScharnberg the life that they give them is far less stressful. They are given an unending supply of food, shelter and the best medical treatment. We don't even treat humans that way. It's not about entertainment, it's about awareness and cultivating reverence for life we would of never witnessed.

  • @TheCarlScharnberg It would be nice if people could do some research before trying to sound smart. The San Diego Zoo gets most of its animals from its sister facility, the nearby wild animal park. Many of the animals are born in house, others are rescues from OTHER people who smuggled them illegally. The San Diego Zoo is widely praised for all it has done to help animal rights and survival.

  • @TheCarlScharnberg The Hatari days of wild animal round up for zoos is long over. These animals are either taken from black market trading, for rehabilitation and release when possible, or they were born into captivity. Proper zoos awake a love for animals in many people that lead them on to do great things in the field. It brings their plight right up and made personal. These animals are ambassadors, not prisoners.

  • @TheCarlScharnberg Gorillas are getting slaughtered so be happy they can still survive stfu

  • @0Time2PlayMinecraft0 Don't act like a child, it's very unbecoming.

  • @TheCarlScharnberg acting like a child since when?

  • @bashildy The Wild Animal Park too, they have a huge ape enclosure.

  • @bashildy yea I am against most things like this but that was a HUGE facility

  • @TheVeganPoet1 These animals are born into captivity and cannot be wild, so there goes the "imprisonment" argument. About your other complaints - the public doesn't care about animals it doesn't have experience with. That's just how it is. Zoos help entire species by educating the public and making them care.

  • @TheVeganPoet1 And also include all of the good zoos have done. Sure it is sad to see animals in cages bored out of their minds, but they have provided a huge amount of research information. Also some larger zoos participate in facilitating the breeding and re-population of certain species that would otherwise be doomed to extinction. And also think about how when those zoo attendees are later asked about donating or helping an animal charity, they may think back on this very human-like behavior

  • @TheVeganPoet1 tbh with you they wouldn't be born to begin with so they arn't wild

  • @TheVeganPoet1 I agree. Would we laugh and smile at ourselves looked in cages and pens? no... We'd be disgusted.

Most would say it's 'different' because they are animals are we're humans.

We're no more animals than they are if we treat them like nothing.

  • @TheVeganPoet1

The animals you see in zoos nowadays are as free as they always have been. They likely grew up in captivity. They won't have the skills needed to survive in the wild. Animals survive longer in captivity for a reason, the zoos that remain open do so because they look after the animals within them. They're educational facilities, far safer than for school children or tourists than going into the wild.

  • @TheVeganPoet1 so true

  • @TheVeganPoet1 do u see how large that place is it has a lot of free space i dont see nything wrong

  • @TheVeganPoet1 another one of you... Zoo's for the most part are here to often educate us and show upfront. But if we did it your way pandas and many other animals would be extinct just because "it's cruel to lock them up in a safe controlled environment"

  • @TheVeganPoet1 and what do you consider a free environment? if they were in the wild they have a much hire chance of falling prey to poachers. In the zoo, at least they are safe from that threat.

  • @TheVeganPoet1 A few species would already be gone had it not been for zoos. Some environmental wackos have actually unintentionally killed off species with their unthinking religion, or how about the endangered parrots the Germans just sent to Qatar to preclude disease. Now extinct in the wild, the wackos are now calling for their immediate release. You and I both know that 150 birds would disappear. Let the gorillas enjoy their hotel.

  • @TheVeganPoet1 besides most animals are kept to reproduce the falling numbers

  • @TheVeganPoet1 Gorillas are wiping from the planet very rapidly. Poachers and hunters kill several every day around the world. Being in a zoos custody, as unnatural and unnerving it may seem, kind of acts like a foster home. May not be the most welcoming place, yet atleast it's better than living in danger.

  • @TheVeganPoet1

You should probably realize that these gorillas live a life with no risk of death to poachers, they are cared for, nurtured and vaccinated. I can definetly see worse fates for a gorilla then this. And they obviously don't give two shits about all the people.

  • @TheVeganPoet1 their safer here, because we humans are destroying both them, and their homes!

  • @TheVeganPoet1 There are a lot safer in the Zoo then being killed by poachers.

  • @TheVeganPoet1 Yeah, I'm sure living in the wild amongst the parasites, disease, predators, and poachers as an endangered animal is more "Free". Get real. Nature is not always the kindest mother, you silly hippy.

  • @TheVeganPoet1 zoos aren't for such things. not only do they give people the chances to see how animals behave but also zoos are trying to help certain species from going extinct. unfortunately births are somewhat rare for those species who are fading away. in case you don't watch or read the news, a snow leapord had been born in a zoo and they are at the top of the list. and yes it is still alive. think before you speak.

  • @TheVeganPoet1 The reason why they have them in captivity is because they are near extinction with only 600 gorillas left in the wild. They are trying to save them just like the chimpanzees and orangutans.

  • @TheVeganPoet1 Yea, I completely agree with you! It would be so much better if we just don't educate our children about animals. I mean, whats the point? We may aswell let our children grow up in a world where so many animals are extinct because there was no conservation effort.

  • @TheVeganPoet1 They are not in a tiny little 4x4 cage look at the habitat. It is huge. Cruelty? Those animals have a longer life span then in the wild. There is no misery. Alot of zoos take in injured or sick animals...Think next time you imbecile.

  • ANIMALS HAVE NO BUSINESS IMPRISONED & LOCKED UP AGAINST THEIR WILL IN CAGES FOR OUR PETTY & DISGUSTING AMUSEMENT. IF PEOPLE CONTINUE TO BUY TICKETS TO SUPPORT "FOR-PROFIT" VENUES & EVENTS FEATURING ANIMALS, THEN HOW SICK, SAD, AND PATHETIC DOES THAT MAKE US?? PEOPLE SHOULD BOYCOTT ALL FORMS OF ANIMAL VENUES, AT ALL COST. THESE INSTITUTIONS SHOULD BE BANNED, OUTLAWED, AND ILLEGAL. ANIMALS SHOULD BE LEFT ALONE IN THE WILD WHERE THEY BELONG. WHAT GIVES US THE RIGHT TO IMPRISON THESE ANIMALS?

  • @TheVeganPoet1 They are in zoos for their own protection, if they were all aloud to live freely they would be poached.

  • @TheVeganPoet1 lol yup because those gorillas look so miserable dont they, i can see how cruel their getting treated, always having food brought to them, people cleaning up their shit, etc. they must be really suffering. So why dont you just stfu cuz no ones wants to listen to some peta bitch rant about animal cruelty.

  • @TheVeganPoet1

Many animals kept in zoos were either born their or brought there for rehabilitation. In either situation, they usually stay at the facility too long to go back into their natural habitat without significant risk to their health and well-being.

  • @TheVeganPoet1 dude the san diego zoo makes sure that all ther animals are happy as possible

  • @TheVeganPoet1 You do know that most animals in zoos were rescued right?

  • @TheVeganPoet1 Do some research into the SD Zoo honey.

  • @TheVeganPoet1

If you've done your research, you would know that most animals in zoo's have been raised since birth by human hands. That or they have been injured/sick and cared for at zoo's. It's not like people go out to Africa and take a grown lion back to San Diego. Quit acting like it's animal abuse. It's not. Those animals are taken care of every day. Food, water, and shelter readily available. Better than being out in the unpredictable wild and the possibility of being hunted.

  • @TheVeganPoet1 yea dude so they can die horrible grueling deaths ... yea man toats , toats mu- fucking goats

  • @TheVeganPoet1 Shut the fuck up

  • @TheVeganPoet1

Well yes they should be in the wild but you never know what will happen to them they could get killed by hunters or captured and selled and they would Probably end up in a crappy cage with no food or water and that would make them even more Miserable then before so Zoo's are actually a good place for animals it keeps them safe and Healthy

Now U should Think before you talk/ write

  • @TheVeganPoet1 You do know they can get severely hurt or die staying in the wild right? They could go all the way down to extinct!

  • @TheVeganPoet1 I agree. I used to love going to the zoo when younger, but then went again in Dec to the "World Famous SD Zoo". Large facilities or not, i noticed the distress & bordom of the animals. They were pacing back & forth, obviously not happy- It was sickening & will never visit one again. BUT zoos do educate people, especially kids. Kids love them & hopefully grow respect for the animal- which could lead them to save wild ones when older. if only ppl respected them in the 1st place :(

  • @TheVeganPoet1 How is this cruel. You are crazy. This is actually safer for them and they live better.

  • @TheVeganPoet1 most animals in zoos now are 2nd or later generation. the whole "release them back into wild" commonly fails as they are more domesticated than outside.

  • They remind me so much of us. So sweet.

  • I went to the San Diego Zoo once 5 years ago. I'd love to go there again, if only to see that wonderful gorilla exhibit again!

  • and thats why we hug our partens

  • For some reason gorillas at the zoo always have their back to the glass
