  • Songs like these are rare... thought provoking... rap ???? what the shit?

  • Boondocks

  • We need Jay Electronica x Kendrick Lamar

  • Some of these lyrics are totally nonsensical, along side good lyrics.

  • They had a Exhibit C video up that had a million views, and of course it is removed. I swear to God, the Government or someone is trying to suppress influential Hip-Hop

  • @XxSwaggaJacksonxX i agree with you, ive seen this happen to a lot of videos that spread positivity

  • @XxSwaggaJacksonxX i thought i was the only one that noticed that. if you check there are a lot of his videos that were removed when they reached over 600,000 then put back up. somebody scared the truth will get out there

  • @XxSwaggaJacksonxX Yup. I've been noticed that. That's what they do!

  • @XxSwaggaJacksonxX It's just record companies trying to squeeze every last penny out of their stupid antiquated copyright. It's really pathetic. They have lost all understanding of what a promotional vehicle is. They go after DJs and mixtapes too. We have no memory for the past. How are mixtapes and DJs doing anything other than promoting. They talk out of both sides of their mouths. Releasing promotional vinyl to DJ pools then they turn around and sue the same DJs for making a mixtape - ???

  • @Kdnce Truest statement on Youtube. They forget the roots, and it being all about the money is an understatement. Everything that the companies do is hypocritical and backward, including turning on DJs and rappers the way they do. Would Roc Nation have claim to the Exhibit C video even though it was made a year before Elec signed with them?

  • @XxSwaggaJacksonxX Don't blame government, Blame Corporations.

  • @XXGDUBSXX Thank you, it's all about power. Not quality, just power.

  • @XxSwaggaJacksonxX They don't want black folks listening to positive music 'cause they know it would motivate us. That's why after ClearChannel took over gangsta rap blew up and now there is this fck'd up notion that "black" = "gangsta". Just like Chomsky says, they use all kinds of techniques to vilify and supress what they call "the superfluous population." Because we don't help with "their" wealth creation except when they jacking AfAm wealth through mortgage fraud. fck 'em

  • @dankbot420 don't mean to talk out the ass, but what do you mean gangsta rap? its mainly bull shit like lil wayne, drake, niki minaj, all this new age bull shit....it all sucks and none of it is gangsta in any way possible....the black people are not as oppressed as they once were in my opinion mainly because now a days the black populace is scattered all throughout the classes of society.

  • @XxSwaggaJacksonxX No shit, for real?

  • @KSICarbonCore Ah yea there was one, but this happens with every other video I've seen really.

  • The South owns Hip Hop... We know NY Created it.. but South took Over..

  • @0xd34dx0 nah, Midwest and west took it over. Too many lyricist are coming out of that area.

  • @HueyEscobar56 Like Who? LMAO!

  • @0xd34dx0 Kendrick Lamar, Nipsey Hussle, XV, Jay Rock, Ab-Soul, Schoolboy Q, Odd Future (not a big fan of the however), Kreayshawn (DEFINITELY not a fan), Rockie Fresh, Casey Veggies, BranUn DeShay, Hopsin, SwizZz, Dizzy Wright, Blu. and much more. Thats just up and coming artist. In mainstream you got Kanye amd Lupe. Two great lyricist

  • @HueyEscobar56 hell yeah man midwest chicago stand up! theres alot of talent here unfortunately alot of people have never heard of like Juice or MC Juice w.e you wanna call him hes a fuckin ill lyricist he used to battle em back in the day before he blew up and lupe is pretty coo kayne ..eeehhhh kinda sometimes i like him sometimes i hate em typical cats are pretty decent too much much more belive me

  • @HueyEscobar56 Rockie fresh is from chi town

  • @shanesdope Yeah, i kno, Chicago is in the midwest. He is also one of the artist i mentioned.

  • @0xd34dx0 The south sucks. Who the fuck do they have other than Outkast and TI? Birdman and Lil Wayne? Gucci and Waka? Fuck that. Jay doesn't even have a southern style, and he acknowledges that.

  • @MaddMan621 See thats how i know you listen to the Radio lmao!... I dont listen to them trash ass rappers you just named... YUou just dont know bout the South.. nigga we Got J. cole, Andre 3k luda, T.I Jay Elect... wanna go back some days?? Pimp C... and many more nigga

  • @0xd34dx0 But, the midwest and west have better artist at the moment. I'm not taking anything away from the south, but the west and midwest are just better with more up and coming lyricist at the moment. =\

  • @0xd34dx0 I said 3 stacks (he was in outkast you know) I said TI and I said Jay doesn't even have a southern style. And if you notice I said "fuck that" after the shitty rappers, because they're shitty rappers. (And Ludacris has fuckin sucked for four years)

  • @MaddMan621 South as Big K.r.i.t and J cole, Jay electronica straight annihilated son

doesn't matter if he has the southern style or not still the south.

  • @MaddMan621 Yea luda suck now.. but in his prime he would burn niggas

  • EXHIBIT BASED! Lil B kill this beat. Jay Electronica did too though! both are legit.

  • Jay is dope..but the whole "NY niggas stealin southern niggas slang"..when dude is sayin "megatron don" and shit like nobody gonna notice he's heavily influenced by Nas.

  • @nikeskater416 What you talking Bout?

  • @0xd34dx0

Jay is a dope emcee and i'm all for him..but he disses NY every good once and a while in his tracks. But then he be quotin old Nas or Jay-Z quotes in his songs..shit don't make sense to me sometimes.

  • @nikeskater416 I think it's because a lot of NY niggas have NOTHING but hate towards southern Hip-Hop. I'm not saying it's all of them (I'm sure he's not either), but a lot NY niggas like to shit on the south as if EVERY one of our emees is just another waka flocka or gucci man.

  • @MultiFeezy

very true man, east coast generally downplays anything that isnt east coast. the dirty south movement gave southern hip hop a real bad name..but cats like jay hold the shit down and shows intelligence can come from any part of the world. i respect this dude more from being from the south and having such a nasty ass intellectual flow and breaking into the industry without a dance or gimmick. its rare enough as it is for a true spitter to blow up.

  • Jay ain't never bit nobody, if anything, he served everybody lyrically, he's still the truth, ain't nobody bossed Jay yet.

  • Yo, Jay Elect's dope as fuck and he's got some complex metaphorical lyrics that I don't fully understand but why the hell does he say...

    "Call me Jay Electronica" (Okay)

"Fuck that, call me Jay ElecHannukah" (Why?)

    Jay ElecRamadan...(Wha?)...

Why does he wanna be called Jay ElecHannukah, besides I thought he was a Muslim. I heard him talk about religion a lot before. is the whole Hannukah/Ramadan thing him trying to foster peace between Muslims and Jews? Said something like that in "The Pledge".

  • @FenceDaGreat becuz hes not just jay electronica, he represents everybody....bringing the people together

  • He ain't lyin. NY niggas steady talkin bout "smokin loud" and "in the trap" like they invented it.

  • @WillMorebucks

boy bye! NY niggas INVENTED hip hop. kill the noise.

  • @mocha0030

Canadians invented basketball, doesn't mean they're the best at it. The South been running this shit and will continue to. Name a NY rapper under 30 that actually has a buzz. I'll wait....

  • @WillMorebucks I'll give it to Papoose, but outside of that shit, no one at all

  • @WillMorebucks Damn lol...I tried think of hot NY rapper under 30 real quick, but I had to stop and really think about it..lol...How old is French Montana? lol...All my favorite lyrical NY rappers that come to mind had their buzz in the 90s and early 00s.....Most of the known lyricist of today come from the midwest and west coast..south got spitters too

  • @tswagg504 Cory Gunz

  • @WillMorebucks but it was a canadian american who invented basketball in the usa D:

  • @WillMorebucks

the south may be running hip-hop, but its in the TOILET because of it. the most acclaimed southern rappers try their hardest to emulate NEW YORK mc's. most of the hip-hop coming out of the south is G-A-R-B-A-G-E. i don't even listen to the radio anymore because i can't stand it. *gagging*

  • @mocha0030

Silly goose, it's actually the opposite...

French Montana- riding Brick Squad's wave to get hot, dude hopped off Max B dick real quick and jumped right on Gucci and Waka's

A$AP Rocky- the nigga's breakout song was chopped and screwed... Need I say more?

Nicki Minaj- Same as French Montana. Rode Gucci's dick to the halfway point, and then hopped on Wayne's wood for the rest of the ride

NY ain't shit anymore, ya'll ain't bringing shit new to the game, just keep throwin out old niggas

  • Cecil B.! Philly!

  • DONT GIVE IN TO THE TEMPTATION JAY!!!!!!!!!!

STAY REAL BRO... YOU GIVE US HOPE THAT REAL HIP HOP IS STILL OUT THERE.

  • wuts with the spaces?

  • KATSTACKS by Chi illy Boyz check it out u will like the song

  • Wake and Bake....Beats

  • "When New York niggas was calling southern rappers lame but then jacking our slang." A$AP Rocky is a prime example of New York niggas taking southren style.

  • @harpebrothers word right

  • Jay aint fucking with MT

  • salam aylekum, nation of islam ^^

  • what song is this sample from ever since i heard jay elect on this song ive had to listen to all hes done but this one is deff my fav

  • Jay Elect spit the illest rhymes...

  • jay>j.cole cole dope but overhyped

  • @mccinable25 jayz is overhyped

  • @ridore9 Nothing about Jay-Z is overhyped. Do your research.

  • @Starstruck215 he living off this mystique that he's this legendary rapper...and what research could i do to prove he isnt overhyped exactly?? he living off of what he's done in the past...jay is wack....in the end sayin some1 is overhyped is a matter of opinion u can have yours ill have mine

  • @ridore9 Thought you were talking about Jay Elect for a sec, he deserves all the hype. Jay-Z on the other hand is a different story. I'm a big fan of Jay-Z and he had some classics, (by "research" you could go give "Reasonable Doubt" a listen). Unfortunately, once he did "The Blueprint" and got rich/famous as hell he just decided "fuck it". For "The Black Album" he went old school but since then he's been weak. He always was kinda a biter, though (Big Jaz, L, and Notorious).

  • @FenceDaGreat i'ved heard his old stuff tho...thats why im sayin he's overhyped...he's livin off of past greatness...the only classic he made after is empire state of mind...alicia keys had as much to do with that as he did...we making the same argument...yeah he bites hards

  • what I love about this guy is that he is not playing the whole chiched theme of, "look at how good my lyrics are and look at how shitty the hip hop music industry is these days! I'm the god damn savior of hip hop!" he is just spitting fire and doesnt need to point it out. I cant wait for this guy to drop I'm already a fan.

  • dammm mikael pietrus is killin it

  • @marbreds100 He does look like him though haha!

  • @marbreds100 I didnt know mikael could rap well u never know

  • when is he ever gonna drop an album?

  • Jay Elec killed it! I cant wait for him and Lil B to collab.

  • @TheSenseiClay lil b can suck a dick :D

  • Good ass music

  • Jusy listened to Drake's "Lord Knows". 2 things:

    1. Just Blaze, come on dawg...seriously. Its only a hit once.

    2. J Lec fuckin D E S T R O Y S this beat. Not every rapper can rip a good beat

  • @EsteLFresco well just blaze has been making this same kind of beat for jay-z the roc and dipset in the early 2000s nothing new on just blaze style of sampling

  • Me and my grandson are going to enjoy Act 2

  • @tswagg504 might as well share it with the rest of the family

  • he kill'd it!!!

  • HE ATE DIS SHIT LOL

  • EXHIBIT BASED > EXHIBIT C

  • @RiseagainstWINS Nigga shut up

  • @BlackOwnedDollars nigga how many views this got compared to exhibit based doe?

  • @RiseagainstWINS That don't mean shit. All it means is that in comparison to a song thatrs complex and harder to decipher, people will run to a song thats wack, corny but silly and easier to decipher.

  • @BlackOwnedDollars I've never heard the song your talkin about (I'll go check it out), but I totally agree that views ain't worth shit. If so Lil Wayne would be better than this, and in most cases its not.

  • @brandonw2010mlg Shit i never heard that song he talks about either, have no desire to hear. Sounds by the title, that its done by Lil B and to me its like food. Expensive food is usually the better kind to eat and usually isn't consumed as much as the food thats made quickly, inexpensive and bad for you.

  • @BlackOwnedDollars Yeah, don't waste your time listening its shit.

  • @BlackOwnedDollars LiL B did not get on this classic ass beat...please say it aint so!!!

  • @BlackOwnedDollars LOL abyone with the name RiseagainstWINS is obviously into bad music.

  • "That's why people got my back like the verizon man" he was just warming up lol.

  • Jay-Z, J. Cole, Jay Electronica. That's Roc Nation right ther. That ain't fair lol.

  • They call me Jay Electronica

    Fuck that.

    Call me Jay ElecHannukah

    Jay ElecYarmulke

Jay ElecRamadaan Muhammad Asalaamica RasoulAllah Supana Watallah through your monitor.

...You're more than the game my man.

  • "WE're Gonna DO A SONG".....WE KNW

  • Jay-E > Jay-Z

  • @FayariMustang all day every day

  • Needing more like Jay!

  • @PUShChannel need more real rappers period

  • One of Jay E's Best Songs AND One of Just Blaze's Best Beats. Though This Beat is Freakin AWESOME, Jay Doesn't Need It, His Flow is Too Exqusite and Uniquely Poetic For a Beat. KEEP REAL HIP HOP ALIVE!

  • They call me Jay Electronica

Fuck that, call me Jay ElecHannukah

    Jay ElecYarmulke

Jay ElectRamadaan Muhammad Asalaamica Rasoul'Allah suphana wat'Allah through your monitor
