I like Adrian's playing, I have since the early 80's, but someone said the band could do without any one of the 3 guitarists. I disagree with that. If Dave ever left, they should quit. He is Maiden's sound, imo. Btw, no disrespect to Janick, but Murray and Smith handled things pretty well in the 80's, just the two of them.

janick can play adrian's solos, cos he replaced him so he had to learn his solos. adrian came back and now each plays his own solo. maybe janick plays some adrian's. but in my opinion janick do not play as good as smith. janick is quick but adrian has so good feeling that you can at once recognize when adrian is playing. i respect janick, normally he is at iron maiden for 18 years and he is good guitarist and great show maker, but adrian is the best guitarist at iron maiden for me.

Janick is a good player but is lacking when playing live as he concentrates to much on jumping about. Janick is a local boy as I live near him, but sometimes I think the band were much tighter before he joined. As a guitar player myself adrians style is more focused and preplanned, I suppose it's down to personal choice. Up the irons!

Adrain is amazing! Probably my favorite of the 3, but the multiple guitar sound is more of a trademark sound for Maiden than any of the individual guitarists
