Ways and forms of devotion is called 'Tariqah' or 'path'. There are many 'Tariqah' and only one devotion. So we see the beauty of 'unity' in devotion from all 'Tariqah'. 'Straight' path is the devotion itself not the 'Tariqah'. Don't keep on contradicting on this matter or you only keeping your heart closed from the actual meaning of the 'straight path' which Prophet Muhammad had preached long before. Let there be light in our heart through 'zikr'.
Muslim in Arabic means "those who submit to God". The ways and forms of how you revere and pay homage to God can go according to one's believe. Another word ways and forms are just method. True Sufis accepted all forms and ways. One has to adopt a certain form, but the most important is you perform it sincerely.
Very sad. Prophet Muhammad has shown us the sttraight path to Allah, to obtained his blessing but look at all this people they are creating their own ritual and said they are submitting to Allah. Only Allah guides and you have to ask for HIM guiden sincerely.
Here's some passages in the Qu'ran that pertain to lack of women's rights.

[4.11] "Allah (thus) directs you As regards your children's (inheritance): to the male a portion equal to that of two females"

[2. 223] "Your wives are as a tilth [cultivated land] unto you. So approach your tilth when or how ye will."

[4:34] Men are the protectors... As to those women On whose part ye fear Disloyalty and ill-conduct, Admonish them, refuse to share their beds, beat them...
@AngellicalGirl :) Its the duty of man to protect and provide for his family. Women is exempted from the duty of providing for her family even if she is richer than her husband, so, 2 for male:1 for female. Man is the leader of the house! Both are equal but different.
The verse about marriage says that "if you can do justice". Men in the West can have 20, 30... mistresses but when it comes to a maximum of 4 wives, who have rights, then it doesn't go down their throat. :)

Two men shall serve as witnesses; if not two men, then a man and two women whose testimony is acceptable to all. Thus, if one woman becomes biased, the other will remind her. It is the obligation of the witnesses to testify when called upon to do so. ......"

Bidaah hasanah can only be used in a non religious event..Such as car etc..This is not how islam been taught by MUHD SAW..
