Don't know what all these cretins are whinging about. Tone sounds great to me. Obviously you're not going to get a load of low frequency response through a camera, any half-wit could tell you that. Don't try and criticise a tone if you don't even understand basic principles like that. Lots of bite too it - it's exactly the sort of thing that's gonna cut through a mix. and if it is something he did intentionally and his bass amp is capable of getting that much clank to come through then I want to hear what he sounds like in a mix, cuz my guess is that he will sound like a couple of weird clanky noises here and there and everything else will get lost in the mix.

Dont matter now cause my friend sold that ampeg v4b and is rocking his Fender mono 1200 watt power amp with a new matching Fender tube preamp. This rig will now be pushing two mesa road ready cabs with 2x10 and 1x15 EV and Roads 1x18 all bridged to 2 ohms on that 1200 watt monster.

You might want to let him know...that he needs to put a fan behind his tube amp...it'll help extend the life of it. I got a V4 from 69-72 myself, it's pretty awesome.
