Portal is a puzzle/science game which has puzzles like so. There is 19 puzzles in total but the last part (after chamber 19) is fairly longer, and a small bit harder. But you get used to the physics of the game. :)

actually I don't like this dark look. There's no reason for it to be dark, and it's harder to judge distances which is most of the gameplay.

I like the sterile-looking test chambers, sets you up for what's next too.

it must if source game engine works on xp. This game looks like a very good excercise for aiding in developing (or would appeal mostly to) the left brained, using geometry based math puzzles(and perhaps introduces the mind 2 some theoretical quantum based concepts) as well as general problem solving. Beautiful game but looks also tedious, but worth it to develop better and faster math and spacial reasoning skills i bet. Don't quote me on this =)

actually there is a cake, all you have to do...if you have it on PC is to use noclip because when Glados is there you use it and go outside the chamber and then you will see a outside place and just undernieth that is the chamber where the cake is coz i put the companion cube on top of it ,

Actually there is a cake, when u start you'r like a proto type and they train you on how to use the portals, but after they make u think that they wanna kill you and you escape and after you have to fight the computer, once the computer is "killed" they'll take you to the cake and the computer sings the song.

Sow there is a CAKE and ALL is a training even the fake escape.

It's part of the Orange Box, the biggest gaming bargain ever. It comes with Half Life 2, HL 2 episode 1,HL 2 episode 2 which many people reacon are the greatest games of all time. It also comes with Team Fortress 2 which is basically what would happen if you took the incredibles and filled it with blood and gore. Then theres portal, which is short, funny, mind melting fun
