Nice concept... I think if you can "fix" the issue that you "die" at the end of every level even if you beat it... you'll have a winner. Nothing is coming to mind off hand, but perhaps the dots could change into something more "bonus" like to give an idea that you are no longer at risk, and then make the ending animation clear you survived. Anyway just some thoughts! Good luck...
