  • question: you said you'd been only riding a few hours when u got our bike and you were trying to build your confidence....but surely you had to do your bike test? what do you have to do to get your bike license in the US? over here in the UK its a 4 part test with lots of road riding and a 45 minute practical road test.

how did you get to ride a 600 if u were so unconfident? im not hating, im really jut curious to the differences.

    great vid, beaut bike :)

  • @BboyFiZiX That was the first time I rode it. I spent some time in the driveway learning the clutch. In the US it varies by state. In my state you just take a written test. Its way too easy in my opinion. There are no restrictions on the size of the bike.

  • @kryten what state do you live in? if you dont mind me asking. im doing alot of research and i travel alot for work. i wouldnt mind getting an american license and if it only takes a written test i might be able to squeeze it into a trip :)

  • i was excited as hell when my bike got delivered.

  • hey we have same bike.. i just got it 1 mo ago and its my 1st bike too. im still bit scared to ride on day time traffic how long did u take to bring it out on busy traffic?

  • Im getting a gsxr 600 in the next few months but first im gonna take the msf course have fun and be safe

  • Hey mate, I love your videos. I'm learning to ride at the moment but I live in England so I've only got a little Honda CBR 125. As that's all you can have until you pass your test over here.

I'm planning on getting a GSX-R 600 when I pass! Keep on making vids!

  • Cool bike! Must be nice to have friendly neighbors. The people around here are all racist, condescending pricks.

  • Who's the other guy u mentioned?

One was Mordeth13 and who's the other guy? TheJosh?

  • TheJosh was a bike vlogger for a while and then he just disappeared. He moved and did two or three vlogs in his new city and then just stopped posting. After a while he deleted his account. He road a blue Ninja 636.

He did several videos about counter steering and other tips about riding.

  • I really enjoyed video's posted by TheJosh. I wonder why he just dropped off out of sight... anyone?

  • I heard he met a woman and she made him stop. He also moved to Florida and I bet Florida is the most boring state for motorcycling. Maybe he just didn't see the point. I wish he would have left his old stuff up though.

  • Thanks for the update. I didn't think there was anything controversial in his video's so I agree... he should have left them online for others to enjoy. Maybe TheJosh will see others asking about him and come back on.

  • im just about to get a bike, past my test thanks to non other than MORDETH13

i did the same as you, just watch videos, and imagine doing it.

great feeling to put what you know to practice

good luck mate, and if ur thinking of doing Vlogs, doo coz i find you easy and enjoyable to watch

  • congrats on the bike, really motivitates me

  • ive been watching most your videos and they are pretty good. I just put a deposit down for an 07 zzr600 after selling my ninja 250r, which was my first bike. How do you like the riding posistion on the zzr600? for me it seems right in between the ninja 650R and a gskr. a little leaned forward, but not very much.

  • I like the riding position. I think its extremely comfortable for a sport bike.

I have about 3000 miles on it now and I love it. I've gone on a few long trips. The longest trip in one day was about 400 miles. I was a bit sore but it only took about a 10 or 15 minute break every 100 miles or so to be ready to go again.

I've tried a 650R and hated it. Some people may like them but I hate the riding position. If I'm going to sit straight up I may as well have a cruiser.

  • good to hear on the riding posistion. I sat on the one im buying for a few minutes and was instantly impressed by how comfy the seat and riding posistion was. I also dont like the 650R's riding or comfort. The zzr600 is way more comfy than the 650r is. I was expecting better rider comfort from the 650r. also good to hear your long rides have been fairly comfy. thanks for the reply.

  • so when you asked other people about what bike you should get did most of them recommend the zzr600? thanks

  • Not specifically. I had a friend that rode and he recommended nothing lower than a 600. Everyone online recommended nothing higher than a 250. I'm glad I listened to my friend. The 600 is starting to feel weak. Its not. I've just gotten used to it.

I think I would be bored on a 250 really quick. That's not to say you should get a 600. It all depends on you. If you have self control and wont ride it hard in the beginning a 600 would be fine. I like my ZZR. When I upgrade I plan to keep it.

  • hows the riding position on this bike?

not too aggressive/leaned over? im debating between this or the ninja 650r but im not a fan of the upright position. just the low end torque. and i dont really like aggressive positions like a race replica zx6r or something lol. i heard the zzr was something in between.

so its either the zzr600 or the ninja 650r with sport bars 2.0 or SM bars for me.

any advice? sorry for all the questions. thanks

  • I like the riding position. I would say the lean angle is between a 650 and a ZX6R. It can get a bit tiring on a long ride if you lean on the bars. You have to learn to support your weight with your legs. Don't lean on the bars and you'll be fine.

I tried the 650 but I don't like sitting straight up. From what you're saying it sounds like you would be happy with the riding position of the ZZR. The only drawback of the ZZR in my opinion is that its carbed instead of full injected.

  • whats the difference between fuel injected and carbed bikes? will a carbed bike have any problems compared to a FI?

also have you done stop and go traffic with this bike? how was it? how long do you think youll keep the bike for and are you happy you bought this bike ?no regrets?lol sorry loadsa questions but i think after this im decided on the zzr. just last few bits of info! thanks

  • Do you think you would have been comfortable riding a 600cc bike for a beginner. Because I haven't ridin a speedbike before, but i have ridin dirtbikes. The reason why I am having a hard time deciding for the 250 ninja and a 600 is because i ride on the highway a lot. I heard the 250's aren't to good at highway speed, and I don't doubt it because it only goes about 100mph'ish.

  • I was a beginner. I felt fine on the ZZR starting out. You just have to have self control. Don't jump on and try to race it. I think I would have outgrown a 250 pretty quick.

It all depends on you and how much self control you have. I would suggest getting a used bike though just incase you feel like you made the wrong decision it will be easier to upgrade or downgrade.

  • been good 2 see a rider riding safely. was like if i was riding. Iv got a ZZR1100. great bike. mite have 2 get a camera.

  • Great video...I enjoyed the commentary...keep em coming.

  • nice video

  • Great video but where is your gear?

  • That was my first day with the bike and I only did about 15-20mph the whole time. I was risking a little skin if I took a fall but I felt it was worth the risk.

I picked up full gear a few days later before ever taking it out of my small neighborhood which is a good thing because I actually dropped the bike on my first real outing. I'll be uploading a video talking about that soon.
