You got that right famouspogs. These guys are fucking amazing! nobody could have done this song justice other than them and Eno. I've listened to this for so many years and it still pushes boundaries and reaches my baser instincts. Exactly encapsulates Eno. x.
Oh my goodness! What a great cover. Love the original, love the cover. I respect your opinion if you feel otherswise, but, jeez. It's a little beyond me how you could like one and not the other.
You obviously would listen to a band of idiots "jammin' out" with their "real" sound and no "studio fluff" rather than a true artist whose ambition was to change the face of recorded music and popular music in general. I can't stand all these bands that want to do the same thing as groups did decades ago. But it's okay for them, luckily there are enough of you simpletons to listen to them. Not only that, but to also defend them from disinterested assholes that posted one comment months ago!
My favorite would be Brian Eno. I also enjoy David Bowie's more creative albums. Other than that I enjoy The Residents because of their tremendous efforts to change the way music is perceived. Also a buncha industrial bands. What have you got to say about that Mr. I listen to a less popular Weezer? Shit, you probably even like Weezer, so it wouldn't even be an insult. And The GO! Team? Christ. Fuck, you probably like Wolfmother and ska too! Enjoy having the musical taste of a moron, nice try.
Well see, what I'm trying to say is that they really are not. They have the talent of a band of 40 year old drunks that play county fairs. Luckily for them all the hipsters began to enjoy whiny music played by men who look like they're washed out assholes in flannel. Such is the way of the Indie Folk movement, and trendy bullshit is the only way an unoriginal band like this can gain all you asshole fans. I mean look at the music you like, it's all the same shit; the same trendy shit.
you don't even know what kind of music i listen to other than obviously built to spill. i didn't start listening to them because i thought it was trendy or whatever you think. my friend gave me one of their cd's when i was in like 7th grade and i liked it ever since. back then it was pretty much the opposite of trendy.
I try to listen to bands that sound good and have good lyrics, hence why i don't listen to industrial music.

One can tell pretty well from looking at the kind of music videos you watch, this being youtube after all. I saw a little Modest Mouse going, and that was trendy when I was in 7th grade. So unless you're 16 or something I very much doubt what you said was true. Let's see, then we got Sunset Rubdown. That passed the trendy hipster bullshit test there. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, maybe you're not trendy. Maybe you just have a shit taste in music; alas you are the majority so it's ok.

Industrial bands are no one trick pony, like all Indie Rock/Folk bands are. Many bands sing about a great range of topics and engage the listener to think, rather than overwhelm with sensational, emotion grabbing girl talk Also, what other genre not only has it's own great style, but also combines almost every other type in the world? Not any of the same song artists you most likely listen to. If your idea of good lyrics is that sentimental crap, then you're a bitch.
Lol you named three bands that i've listened to on youtube that doesn't even come close to covering it. My favorite bands are tool and modest mouse, both bands have singers who come up with incredible lyrics. Modest mouse is one of the most dynamic bands i've ever heard, but i'll admit their newer stuff doesn't compare to older.
I think you're lumping all "indie" music into one pile, and confusing it for emo music. The music i listen to doesn't complain about girls and shit that's emo music.
Wow, fantastic cover to an amazing song. Thanks for posting video...I should look into Built To Spill...I've only heard their covers...and by their choice of songs to cover, they seem very interesting. I have their cover of "Linus And Lucy" (yes, the Charlie Brown song). lol
that's an amazing cover.. drums could use some work tho c:

You're completely wrong. This lame, unoriginal band should have their fingers removed for covering this amazing song.

Why would you come to this video and bad mouth it? It's obviously for people that like bts. Go watch brian eno videos. Problem Solved.

You obviously don't know BTS. I love the Bauhaus version, but this one is so real and without studio fluff. A genuine jam session!

damn you are just the god of music aren't you. everyone should start coming to you with their concerns of whether a band is good or not.
built to spill might not be changing the world of music or anything but they're still a dam good band.
