1. so they can keep the song fresh and different

2. how would you like playing the same song exactly the same thousands of times, it would be very tedious, another reason why it isnt the same

this isnt my fav version of the song but without a doubt it was a great performance, his voice is so right for the style and his guitar is lush, brilliant earthy sound!

This song can be sang in two such a different ways; a delicate, soft version, which would be considered as the "original", and then this powerful, bursting way; way of screaming your heart out, showing the pain and what it means to you. I think this lady, whoever she is, does it very well. I know, we all miss Lisa, and I think she's an angel as well, but hey. She's gone, and we need to move from delicate crimes to powerful crimes. That's life.

I love Lisa, but this song with Maria and Damien is really special. First, her voice is so strong and powerful and it seems to bring out a more powerful performance from Damien in response. I love the bit where he is singing No again and again and she is singing the refrain at the same time--it seems like a scream from the heart, a burst of anguish and pain.

Yes, it actually sound a lot more chatty on the video than it was in the audience. Most of this concert, the whole audience was totally captured by Damien. It was amazing!
