  • stock sounds suck i sample everything

  • nice setup....one note though. your yamaha monitors are too close together. and too close to your head. youre gonna get ear fatigue and you mixes will not be what they could be.

  • @TRaddcliff

    lol

  • I didn't know Needlz pretty good, i known him pretty much from piggy bank, but he really is a good producer :O

  • ay your a dope producer!! never new you made sum of those beats

  • This may seem like a stupid question.

But how does he cycle thru sounds of other sound modules via the mpc. And also how does he hook up all of those modules to the 2000xl since it only has 2 or 4 midi outs. I can't remember. But thnx.

  • @1birdies daisy chain my man, use your midi thru's

  • Are you still using the mpc 2000xl as your sequencer theze dayz ?

  • @YoungScoob714 he done got rid of all his shit and doin software now, I know he got the Maschine now

  • @danielrater09 you just mad cause your a loser and dont have the smarts or the skill to get to a position of these dudes, go eat a dick

  • @diggydocman yep, you are right.. those were all great observations. you win at life.

  • @diggydocman ..yeah, but you are black so thats like 3 strikes against you already.

  • @danielrater09 i guess if thats how you look at it but i am who i am and i work for what i want and thats it, race is a such a small thing its sad that people get mad over it.

  • Young Buck - Let Me In?

  • dope gear

  • Oh yes, that's a set up.. respect

  • he got some hot

    vintage shit..

    love..tha Rack

  • 2 questions how come everyone that make beats have the big speakers and 2nd what did u mean by vintage

  • with vintage i mean that needlz got some very cool 80s keyboards nd shit.

and u need big speakers with power and good clear warm sound.

ihope i could help u brotha

  • Big speakers= Bass and also the ability to master a song, you need clarity on the sound you want, if you try to produce songs on smaller speakers, it is very hard to master, and when u do get to the point of putting it on bigger speakers with bass, it isint going to sound right, and the levels of Bass, Kick drums will not sound right.

  • they're not necessarily 'big speakers' - they're monitors. necessary for music production not because they're loud but because they produce a flat frequency response. On 'speakers' (home speakers for listening), frequencies are enhanced. You want a flat-as-possible response for producing and mixing music . Its not about the bass or how loud it is, its about frequencies NOT being enhanced, so you yourself can determine how much bass you want, where your kick drum should lie, etc...

  • the size of the studio monitor has more to do with it being able to produce a full frequency range, not about it being loud and bumpin'. A lot of people use those Yamahas you see in this video with the white cones, or the yellow-coned KRKs you may see a lot too. If you're producing music or thinking about it, a good pair of studio monitors are 100% necessary.

  • What keyboards/software/whatever allow you to take one sample sound and create multiple notes?

  • a loop slicer. (software)

    most samplers (hardware and software)

  • @Cinematic4815162342 i wanna learn the same with fl studio

  • NIce!! Wow, he that rack loaded up!!

  • Needlz is crazy nice..

  • its from Cassidy - Crack

  • whats the name of this beat @ 4 min. 10 sec

know its from 50 or young buck, but cant remember the namee!!! dammit!

  • "I just use that for random shit" LOL! Love him.

  • needlz is that dude.

  • how much do you charge for studio time

  • nice work fam

  • I THINK Needlz is dope, but one of the most underrated producers that isnt out there like that and does some incredible beats is REd Spyder

  • @RickRomo I can agree with that He gad some of the hardest drums

  • lmfao he didnt know how to play a beat he produced

  • he a doup producer but lol was kinda funny tryin to see him playin one of his own melodys.

  • HOTT new SONG on my page it hott people new track for the summer pass it on.....

  • dope tracks!

  • Unfortunately that was pretty mediocre.

  • "i had lessons for like 2 years and i still like dont know how to play"

  • this proves that you dont have to know how to play the piano to be a producer.

  • Duh. I dont think Kanye can play one note on a piano. Look @ him

  • wow nice

  • the beat for "Crack" is one of my faves.

  • No doubt. Jacking up another records samples and just cutting them up is played the fuck out. Making music from scratch is something else.

  • you couldnt even tell if the sounds were sampled or not biatch

  • Your a fuckin nerd son. Sampling is not wack is g as fuck

  • @matty80 He's a nerd buy your the one fucking surfing the net looking for beat videos Hmmm

  • @akai5690 Who the fuck cares about what you think?

  • Needlz. I love your music. I have been playing around with a keyboard for 2 years now( but I usually just practice on piano mode so that I can get used to the keys) Just wanted to say that I like artists like you who post on the net to teach other artists and give info. thanx.

  • yea, God Gave Me Style

  • hot beat!! one of my favs

  • And piggy bank, he's done quite a few songs.

  • he now just got an mpc logic and midi controller, and still has hot beeatsss

  • Damn I didn't know he was from michigan we got alot a talent down here

  • this dude is raw, i like his style, real sounds only..

  • Doesn't sound no better than a Triton.

  • After i found out piggy bank and let me in and also god gave me style was all needlz joints...i've been a fan

  • Dude got mad talent!!

  • Disagree about the triton totally!

The triton comes from korg "Generic". thats why you got a program mode. What your'e supposed to do in program mode is to play around with your fiters and oscillators and stuff and configure it to your own standards. most guys just buy the shit and take it homne and start using it immedietly. The triton was never built around that premis! That triton is all pharell uses and you can hear that his sounds different from all other guys!

    Soundemension!

  • werd.. pharrell uses a moog tho.. but anyways

  • yo dat beat at 421 is crack by my nigga cassidy...

  • I've known about Needlz since 2002

  • dis dude dope!

  • yea but he young son, dat man gone be killin cats.

  • he's ight man ( Im not hating ) but theres nothing spectacular about his production all vets who've been making beats 5 years + would agree the type of beats he make sound like rookie ish.

  • Check mines out and tell me wht u think Next month make me 1 year producing

  • u slag. have u heard piggy bank... dat beat is epic.

  • damn this production game is hard. this ninja prod for The Game, 50 cent, freeway,Lloyd Banks etc etc and he still up in dat lil studio DAMN!! i guess i only way to blow up is if u do pop

  • wat kind of keyboard u got n how much was it n wat program u use?
