I've got the sequel of this game (maximo vs armee of zin). It's freaking awesome and one of the best games I've ever played. This looks pretty much the same.

It's very new to me to see maximo fighting against ghosts and not against robots.

Some questions: Can maximo summon the reaper? And are there fight-combos (uppercut...) and people running around which you have to protect? You'll understand my questions if you tried Maximo 2.

Oh and thanks for the Vid. It showed me how the first maximo was.

Back in '02 I got this game @ blockbuster for $3 after a double discount (right place right time and lots of luck). I thought it was going to be crappy but I got it cuz I thought I was going to pay only $9 for it.

It turned out to be one of the best games on the PS ever ( next to GTA:SA, of course).

I just bought this today in ebay. its going to be in my game collection. I had played Maximo: Army of Zin but it was from a friend so I had to gave it back after trying it. and I think Maximo got a really interesting story. so I will buy the first one and 2nd.

Na, it's a lot easier than the Ghosts N' Ghouls games by a long shot. It's really fun as well and I totally recommend it.

The graphics don't stand up to what we see with the PS3 or 360 but I think that the game makes up for it. It's a lot of fun, has some puzzles in it and I'd recommend it for sure.
