  • Olympic weightlifting is mostly about technique, not strength. Of course you need tremendous back and leg strength to clean those weights, but all professional weightlifters are using the "bounce" to get up from the bottom position. Stop too long and you miss the lift.

  • I knew I was missing something... I keep failing coming out of the bottom. :-)

  • easy, just start doing more front squats. and keep your lower back realy tight so you can bounce out the bottom easy

  • Impressive. Strong 2nd pull and rack. You'll be strong en ough to get up in a few months. Thats the easy part getting up. You got the hard part down :)
