@stripgaga that's bullshit... Stone Gods actually take themselves serious! Justin Hawkins is a talented man but nowhere near as devoted or talented as his brother!

@crazydrummer111204 yeah you're right justin isn't devoted. he only admitted he had a drug problem, went to rehab, got cleaned up, and got back into a band. he could have easily just stopped after music, which is what it seemed like he was going to do when he went into rehab. justin can actually sing well, whether or not you like his vocal style, he can sing. also he can shred. i only saw darkness live once and justin shredded all over the place. stone gods suck balls in your mouth

wow, i don't think i've ever seen anything worse. I never liked the darkness, but at least they've moved on to something serious and good (Stone Gods), but Justin Hawkins is too far up his own arse to see that he sucks

That's funny, 'cause personally I think that Darkness were really something fresh (and one of the best things that happened to rock since Guns N' Roses).

Hot Leg doesn't have such great ideas and songs, but they are better musicians.

Stone Gods are just boring as hell to me.

Yeah, Hot Leg is great but they just don't have something that made The Darkness unique right off the bat. What it is, I can't really put my finger on but my guess is Dan's style of songwriting.

nah stone gods give the darkness an easy run for their money, but the darkness did have a little more playfulness, that would be sick if justin joined stone gods!!! three beasts on guitar, of course they wouldn't all play at once, justin and richie could switch on and off with singing/guitar duties

The Darkness are nothing without Dan Hawkins and all the other members.

All the songs in their 2 album were written by Dan and Justin, some of those song with frankie and ed ( and richie in the second album).

So Justin is not the Darkness, they were a band, a great band.

yeah thats very true, but then again justin did bring to the equation the elements of the darkness that set them aside from other bands, such as the falsetto and blistering solos...dont get me wrong, dan, frankie (then richie) and ed all played important roles too, but justin was more or less resposible for those guys sounding the way they did

I think you'll find justin wrote a lot of the lyrics and songs for the darkness. And its not a case of 'better' its a matter of opinion. Justin isnt copying The Darkness, Justin was The Darkness.
