How's this? I am the guy who will buy a C2S WITHOUT the PDK gearbox. I can say i've only driven a DSG on a V8 S4 but i've driven countless manuals. I say leave the trick gearbox to gustav and friends, ppl who track race, ppl who need the bragging rights, and ppl who lack a proper 'car soul'. the kind that get tickled when you bang home gears with a hand, foot, and YOUR brain. not the cars. Go easy on me.

Dont see how this is possible but who know the circustances or how the E55 was running, Also the e55 started in 2nd gear at a very low speed which is garbage for races in this automatic car i know since i own one you either have to be a 25-30mph in 1st or 50+ in 2nd or it lags to build rpms still i would like to see a 997s beat me i havent raced a PDK but a stick one got left behind with ease.

Possibly an MK1 with only 355 is what you beat. The PDK MK2 has 385 hp and weighs pretty much the same. But acceleration is definitely improved immeasurably.

I completely creamed a sl55 with my pdk c4s. sorry man, nice car anyway. I had a 2003 e55 first model year of it in new (now old) body.

Only think you have going for you are those giant twin-turbos that you can ecu-tune to a solid 580hp with ease, that might be a diff story.

The E55 has a supercharger also my car with cooling mods and pully and a dyno tune runs 11.3@122 i know for sure there is not a NA porsche other then a race car that can do that i also ran 11.9@117 bone stock and no PDK porsche powerkit or not has done that either. But the E55 is behind me now as of last week and im working on modding my SL65.

SL55 and E55 do not have a twin turbos. If you don't know that you probably never owned one. It has a supercharger, which ECU tuning does not help in the same way ECU tuning helps turbos.

i'm looking forward to Jaguar XFR races (E55 AMG/RS6/M5 races) and R8 V10 5.2 FSI races. i want to see if the R8 V10 really does only have 525 hp. they say 525hp even though it has almost exactly the same engine as the Gallardo LP560-4. i think they understated it. you should race the Lambo vs Audi to see how much difference there is (i know the Lambo would win).
