My fellow American. Please go to the bureau of labor statistics web site and check the data for yourself. It's all time lined and documented. Unemployment was 4.4% until Nov '06 when democrats took control of the house and senate. In Jan '07 unemployment started it's upward trend. Obama himself says unemployment will pass 11% by 2010. Unemployment spiked after 9/11, but a republican house and senate brought it back down within months. It's now been over 2 years, what's taking democrats so long?
