I try to tell folks today, if you like a Neil Diamond type of voice you should hear Dennis Keller. They say, "who". Neil has always been great, but this guy beats him at his own game, "raspy-voiced" and smooth when the song calls for it.---great stuff--
@johnrobert1950 Possibly because UNI/MCA didn't know how to market them properly. It's sad that they could do the same for Neil Diamond and Elton John, but not these guys. This song definitely could have been a top 10 hit.
Yeah, this whole album is bringin' back some ghosts for me. I remember the first time I heard this album - Boulder Colorado, summer '68, blue doubledome...
...heard it on a Lear 8-track through some Heath-Kit speakers.
What a great band - very melodic and inspiring - thanks for post.

I've always felt the two most under appreciated bands of the late 60's were Status Quo and Fever Tree.

Funny thing, I thought I was the only one who still remembered Fever Tree's music!
They were so GOOD.....I also still have the vinyls, but also now CDs
Why did they never make it really big?.

There is something about Dennis Keller's voice which says to me the "classic rock" radio guys do not run on all cylinders.

these guys were so far beyond progressive
