You should turn down to high, it still looks great just reduces the "far away" detail a bit. I see your stutter a tiny bit, when I had the HD3870 it didn't do that at all even on Ultra@1920x1200 it was smooth as glass, turning it down to High boosted FPS a bit. I average 40-50fps with the HD3870.. I'm going to upgrade my MB to an 790GX I think and have it hybrid crossfire, it should play this game on medium detail@1920x1200 30-40fps according to 3dMark scores I have seen from the IGP...
I have 9600 GT and I think I'm going to buy a 24 inch monitor, does the card work fine on that size of a monitor or shoud I get a smaler one?

Yes I have 9600 with a 24'' monitor now (or 23.6 but I call it 24) and it works fine :D
