really thankful that my mom & dad in influenced me to listen to jazz music, it it weren't for them i won't be able appreciate songs like what EBTG have. im so loving it=)
I started to listen to EBTG when I was 17, not a lot of people are able to appreciate this kind of music. All my friends thought that I was the odd ball in the crowd lol. Now Im 31 and still listen to EBTG.
@Opetlao im 43 and spent my teenage years and adult life listning to them, played it as dj in late 80's, traveled with their songs, cant get enough of it
The most sympathetic song ever by the most empathetic songwriter ever....notice how Tracy and Ben seem to 'talk' direcly to each other at 3:52 ('yeah...yeah')
A beautiful, understated moment between them (and for us as listeners)
Is it just me or does anyone else detect similarities between this track's "happy to be home" and The Script's Breakeven track's part that goes "falling to pieces"?
You know what man, I never thought of that but you are absolutely right. It's the same hook. It is without question the same hook. They ripped it off!
@JosephPaul2 ..........do your homework. EBTG was around at least 10 years before the script........impressive for EBTG to rip off a band in the future.....dumb ass.
Magdalenna: I totally agree! On lazy evenings, I used to walk around our neighborhood, and would see glimpses of people living their lives: baby's crying, someone's cooking dinner, laugher on the tv...just like the song said.
I used to listen to this song every single day before going to work. It's great that i'm able to listen to it again after a long time. EBTG.... simply genius! Thanks for uploading.
This is a great tune...this group is "Great"!!!!

I was saying that the Script ripped off EBTG. Looks like you're the dumbass.

This is just brilliant. Love how vivid the images are--baby's crying, someone's cooking dinner.
