Skyrim - Windshear is the Most OP Weapon

I been using the scimitar from lvl 5-23 still haven't found a weapon with better base damage in 1 hand. Windshear is epic sauce op with that stagger effect

The description isnt about stagger, but about a chance to knock down.

Try bashing. It knocks down sometimes.

@Leto85 ~ yeah it is pretty absurd. i prefer to give it to a follower so they have less problems with their target, but it gets too easy when you use it yourself.

Still, I faced some pretty strong oponent in a savefile of mine where I got strong stuff without the restoration glitch. Long live Master Difficulty level.

Legendary windshear + legendary daedric war axe + bleeding effect perk + infinite armor glitch...I have like 3000 armor rating n 500 health n stamina + I have like 10+ followers who have full daedric armor or light dragon armo depending on what they specialize in...I'm unkillable

On that note, I believe that if you press both triggers (or both mouse buttons) you do an attack where you bring both weapons together and strike at the same time with both your weapons.

This can give you the stagger from Windshear, and the extra damage from your secondary weapon

My one-handed is at 78 so my Windshear does 102 damage. But because I'm a high level it's actually on par with most of the NPC's I fight like draug. Because of my high level all Draug are Scrourges, Wights, and Deathlords. It's a Great weapon and does NOT need to be nerfed! What fun is a game when it's impossible to gain an advantage?

But as has already been said, you are missing the point. you are clearly on an easy difficulty and a high level. With this, a level one character in beggar clothes could perfect Alduin. My windshear does lol 75 damage. But my one-handed is extremely high. You don't even need to time it. You can just swing away and nothing can attack you back. Lol I was shocked.

@SuperAwesome409 - not really. you can go higher with fortify one-hand enchants and armsman though. and there is always the restoration glitch if that isn't enough for you.

making the enemy unable to fight back is much more effective than just damage.

This seems pretty helpful, but if you get the staggering everytime you don't get that intensitvity of the regular fights with "normal" weapons.

@Quaalz - It's fun to see in action, but broken beyond belief. I'd like the effect to stay ON the weapon and not require a shield bash like it says in the description, but the stagger chance should be lowered, sure.
