an urban high-rise green house is already being established in the labs and planed out. they've drawn a map that's three layers deep. which would cost lots of work. farming more food is not the main problem right now, the problem is gas.
since the war in Iraq, oil prices have gone sky high. It caused transportation fee to be very high, which directly affects our food prices, because food, transportes to us on truck loads. as in the videos, many family encounter problems even to feed their own family. so, donating food to others would probably be the last thing on their mind.
What acctually CAUSED this ? i say the US government. they plan to take the rest of the world's money, by rising the gas prices ( american are in controll of many of the underground oil pumpers in iraq.
there's nothing we can do, other than to throw down the US government and president.

but , i am concerned of what is going to be next, it may very likely be our canadian rich water source.
how about we quit our jobs...we stop shopping... we stop whinnig about high food prices ...and go to a forest to hunt a deer rather and eat it rather than starving to death !!
It is very surprising that there is no mention of Bio-fuel which is the single most important factor in the current food price rises over the last year. Forget about the 'rise in malnutrition' that will result - get ready for food riots and mass emigration of food refugees. As 'food price' protests in Mexico already indicate, this time the sufferers know what's to blame and they are not going to lay down and starve to death while we drive Hummers on corn oil.
How about the world stop reproducing at such a freakish rate? How about the UN do something about Zimbabwe? Or maybe the dirt-bags in Opec that Use the price of Petroleum as a political weapon against the west. NEVER bite then hand that feeds you! If the entire world cooperated, things would be different. sadly that will NEVER happen.

I think America needs to modernize the energy and transportation system, without wasting all the taxpayer's money.
Example:
+ Building the fastest modern train system to reduce the delivery price.
+ Hydrogen fuel trucks, and delivery trucks to reduce the market, gas, and delivery price.
