  • I've never been a person who would use water cooling and I don't know much about it. But does this pump already have coolant inside? and is there any maintenance? cheers

  • Comment removed

  • works on a haf x? also what would you say i could oc a 2600k with this

  • @fizzlefofizzle It will fit a HAFX yes. And how far you can push a 2600K will depend on YOUR cpu.

  • @TimeToLiveCustoms Great thanks

  • wtf i didnt get fan extension cables, F U corsair

  • Wich technology geek runs stock fans anyway :p

  • what do you have against american cars?

  • push pull ??

  • @skdb16 One fan on each side of the rad.

  • instead of me getting an h80 should i get an ek h30 kit with 360mm rad?

  • Hi mate! Does the h100 fit on a corsair 600t?

  • @lautaross13

Yes it does, tom made a 600t build video where he was using a h100. check it out

  • @PremchandNL Ty bro!

  • You didn't offend me m8

  • Hey, I have a NZXT Phantom case, will this fit into it?

  • hi I'm going back into liquid cooling after seeing this video in out of curiosity what type of liquid cooling unit could you build or buy for US$300. Thank you and please respond

  • Tom try HOLD the button to change the speeds. it will remove the autotomated controler and cause the fans to be running at max capacity. pressing the button again will bring it back to the 3 speeds. Though its so frikin loud.. Thumbs up so he sees this ;P

  • Would the h100 be better than a coolermaster v6gt?

  • @piet10113 Funny you should say that, because I switched my Corsair H100 for the Coolermaster V6GT. I prefer the V6GT because its much more silent than the H100. The pump is noisy, and MANY people have that issue. The pump makes a clicking kinda noise, that gets REALLY annoying. It has air trapped in it, that I can't get out. Since it's a closed system. I followed all advice I was given. Flipping the case, radiator, letting it run with case lying down... But as far as cooling power goes. H100.

  • @Dansktegnefilm Thanx , i was thinking about upgrading but this made me think twice, my cooling isnt bad , just thought that it could be better.. thanx man

  • @piet10113 I've actually gone from a V6GT to the H100. Fan wise the noise is much and such the same, on 12v I have found the corsair fans to be a lot more noisy than Coolermasters intelligent new design. I hear no noise whatsoever from the pump unless my ear is right next to it and even then it's negligible. I swapped the fans for Gentle Typhoons, tested both coolers and found the H100 to be superior and more stable. All in a HAF-X case it's damn near silent.

  • Got a question for you tom , I have an i5 2500k that seems to be a fairly bad chip , It needs 1.4V just to reach 4.5Ghz and was wondering if the H100 would managed to keep the temps under about 75c , I like the NH-D14 but im not to keen on letting something so heavy hang of the side of my MB , Using a fairly bad Dark Rock Pro! Advanced CPU cooler atm but its on the scary side of 80c when i let prime run for a few hours.

  • @jasontvnd Ive not tested it on a 2500k but you can guage it by looking at the difference intemps between the tests Ive done on my CPU :)

  • @TimeToLiveCustoms It's a monster on a 2700k @5ghz HT on (1.41 vcore). I have it set up as push-pull and it really does the job.

  • @jasontvnd Ur i52500k is fine...get better cooling...and u have the coolers mounted to the mobo...it shouldnt bow it to much or n e thing if u put it on right..so many people use it..if it were to damnage ur mobo dont think it would be one of nactua's products

  • Comment removed

  • @jasontvnd I'm running same speed and voltage on my chip, but max of 63 with a 212+ with fan on low speed, you should try reseating, purchase a new cooler such as a cnps10x or 212+, or maybe lap your chip

  • @jasontvnd My H100 on a 2500k at 5ghz 1.5V on prime over night tops out at 62, 73,72,66 all degrees celcius. i will say this is using Noctua NF-F12 fans and i will be using them in push pull when i get 2 more.

  • @jasontvnd I'm at 1.4v at 4.6Ghz with the 2500k and i'm getting low 60s with a H80.

  • Hey TTL, any idea if this would fit into an In Win Dragon Rider case? Not as mainstream as some maybe, but that's what I like about it ;o)

  • @TheSDW84 Id really like to know too it looks like it would as im thinking about getting one too

  • Jsut change out the fans and your golden.

  • WOuld this fit inside of a ANtec 1200 v3 case?

  • @harley7777777 that's weird, I got enough for 4 fans :)

  • Dude is that hole in your shirt for air conditioning? 9:23 xD

  • Nice review! Will be getting one of these when it´s time for a new system soon!

  • Hey, would this fit in a Thermaltake Overseer RX-I?

  • TimeToBuyANewShirt

  • Can you use different hoses? I'm doing a new build and wanna use clear with reactive coolant. Oh, and wanted to say fantastic job on your channel you have gotten sooooo popular over time from when you started and then when TJharlow suggested you. Proper job mate (hope my British terminology is up-to-date lol)

  • lol I skipped to 34:53 funniest face he has ever pulled

  • Does the h100 fit in the top of an Haf 922 if it has 4 120mm fans ob it?

  • @Satur0z no mate. and the screw holes wont line up on both fans in the roof either.

  • Is it compatable with the fractial design r3 case

  • @RyanJWN you won't be able to fit both the radiator and the fans inside the case , the fans would need to be on the top of the case .

  • @Pandasareawesomex Oh thanks, h80 ok tho?

  • It appears the lower temperature is measuring ambient inside the case. In other words, the air the fans are blowing into the H100. 22 Deg. C seems to be pretty good for the inside of a case with GPUs etc. running. I have not build my system yet but one concern has been which way to take the air from for the H100 (that is, from the inside of the case or outside). Your numbers indicate taking air from the inside of the case only makes about a 2 Deg C difference in the temp. of the air used?

  • The way the American market is, they like big chunky stuff, they don't really care how loud it is... bit like their cars! bwaaahahahahahahhaa

  • NH-D14 or H100 for a 2500k 4.5ghz

  • Would it be a good idea to change the fans to quieter fans?

  • Tap 3 for a bike bell!

  • Which radioactive is your ram?

  • Anyone know if an H100 will mount inside of an Ultra M923 case?

  • Showing in detail how the H100 is fitted into the 400R is greatly appreciated!

  • Would this be useable in a Cooler Master Storm Trooper? It's not made entirely clear in the specs of the case.

  • @DILDOlover yeah it will fit dude :)

  • Did you do a review of the CM hyper 212+? I recently installed it in my PC and was thoroughly impressed with this 30.00 chunk of metal. Stock volts @ 4.2gz on a 2500k it never surpassed 58c on prime 95 overnight.

  • Not a very impressive radiator was expecting it to be more thicker I'd rather a Noctua aircooling then artificial watercooling

  • Comment removed

  • 45min 1080p video... how long did that take to upload?

  • @EmoCactus yeah was wondering the same thing.internet in england must be bloody fast..

  • hi, for an i7 2600k OC to 4.6 Ghz, i should take a Noctua NH-D14 or a Corsair CWC-H100 to keep it cool ?

  • @BlaCkQuT depends on the actual voltage rather than the clock but both will do the job fine.

  • @TimeToLiveCustoms ok thx man :)

  • am thinking of buying a coolermaster haf X and the H80, will i have to put the radiator on the top of the casing too ? or on the rear?

  • Just a quick question!!!!

Do both fans spin on start up?

Only 1 out of the 4 slots seems to be working

  • Don't know if you still check old vid comments but I'd appreciate an opinion; SWTOR is absolutely raping my current CPU(PhenomII X4 955 BlackEd @3.4Ghz), and I'm considering upgrading my rig a few months ahead of schedule - what sort of stable gaming clock do you think an amateur OC'r like myself would be able to squeeze out of the newest Intel quad cores using the H100 set on Low, with nicer fans? Cheers.

  • @sosolidshoe2 easy 4.5ghz if you are not a novice

  • Hey, I know you have this and 2 NF-F12's on your test bench, so i guess you have some experience with it. I'm planning on getting this with 4 NF-F12's in push/pull to cool my FX-8120, with some Arctic Silver 5 as the thermal paste. What do you think about this setup? Thanks in advance :)

  • H100 is shit, mine died within a week (fan controller)

  • @k1ng4000 Quit moaning and RMA it then...

  • @kawaiiultraneo i sure will but i am worried about shipping cost. Bangladesh to China via DHL

  • @k1ng4000 I don't even use the built-in fan controller.... I just set the pump on full, replace the super loud stock fans with rad fans then connect them directly to the power supply! Job done.

  • 9:23 I believe you have a tear in the seam of your t-shirt.

  • hey man could u please tell me if this will fit in a Thermaltake Armor+ full tower case thanks heaps

  • digital link u can set fan profiles and shit but i think its also alot of money should be free with h80 and 100 bullshit

  • I definitely see what youre saying with noise TimeToLive, but could you not simply buy a pair of 120mm hydro bearing fans with the same connectors? Just food for thought for those of you who buy this thinking oh I can live with this and then the noise drives you bonkers, buy a new pair of fans and save yourself the headache and the cost of a new cooler if it bothers you that much.

  • megaupload is down i thought sopa did not pass ??

  • @bulviwoodson The ceo was arrested in New Zealand. I heard its backup with a new ip but no domain. Soon after that 15+ gov websites were hacked and then the bill was postponed.

  • For an extra £40 you could you could get the rs360 kit.

  • fit in an antec 1200 v3?

  • This Will Defo Fit The Corsair Graphite 600T Right? Please reply - Jordan

  • @HYDROGAM3R yes mate it will fit

  • @TimeToLiveCustoms

    That's what she said.

  • @HYDROGAM3R those are both corsair products, so it will always work.

and beside's of that the 600t has a huge space (on the inside) at the top for 1 h100!

so it will work out just fine!

  • Great video ! Where would you suggest mounting that in a Lian li pc-a70 . I was hoping to use the top panel location for two 120 mm blowholes for general ventilation . However if thats the only possible location for the rad I'll move the blowholes.

  • @technomonkey71 not sure it will fit all the way up to the roof in an A70 dude?

  • They should release a chunky tripple rad version...beast.

  • Is it me or does he look like Wallace from "Wallace and Gromit" when he grins?

  • @kawaiiultraneo ..LOL

  • @Drebln893 surely it's a compliment...

  • Uh... just so you know...your shirt's torn...

  • Would it fit inside a Cooler Master Elite 370?

  • Only trouble is having a case with a double fan space I'm guessing??

  • It fits perfectly in antec nine hundred.

  • I used to have H80, damn tho's 120mm fans make noise it's horrible lol.

  • People stop spamming this poor guy with stupid questions that can be answered in 5 minutes if you learn how to RESEARCH.

  • would it fit inside a Fractal Design Define R3?

  • @kuradomas it wont dude no.

  • @TimeToLiveCustoms what about a Antec P280 ;)

  • HI will this fit in a thermal take mk1 full tower case? is the tubing changeable?are water coolers better at cooling that fan coolers? can i put a gpu water block and add extra tubing so it cools my cpu and gpu? Thanks ! love your video.

  • Whats your opinion on fitting this in a 600t case without the Push/Pull configuration? A H80 is £75 whilst a H100 is just £5 more at £80. Worth getting for my 600t case?

  • @Bluegiz90 I have the 600T with the Corsair H100 in push only. Temps are really good. i7 2600K oc to 4.4 It's a good product, worth the extra money.

  • Is this in Push/Pull configuration?

  • 34:55 Epic face..LOL

  • What's that rattling noise?

  • A quick question, seeing as the radiator with fans won't quite fit inside my case (close, just not quite enough space) I'm planning on having the radiator external, or in a different place by modding the case a bit position. Is it safe for me to remove the tubing temporarily from one end so I can pass them through the coolant holes in the back of my case? I don't know whether coolant will spill out everywhere or anything, and whether I'l actually be able to get it back in...

  • are the fans pulling air into the case or pushing it out?

  • @microsoftflightfan1 pushing it out

  • 34:53 made my day! xD

  • i got an h80 on my getho i5 650 and when im booting, the fans sound like jets. but when im in windows and the fans at amx settings they are nowhere as loud

  • Hey tom i have air bubbles in my pump, (its not a pump noise its definatly air bubbles)

I was wondering your opinion on what i could try to get rid of them? tilting my tower on its side on 2 feet removes the popping sound but as soon as its back on all 4 feet it starts popping again (sounds like when hot metal is cooling)

  • Mushkin Radioactive, nice memory mate! ;)

  • @TimeToLiveCustoms i have fit one in the top of my 922 with no modding. was pretty tricky getting the 8pin in though.

  • damnit just bought h70 from amazon

  • i would just keep the fans and pump at the medium setting

  • Would it fit is a storm enforcer , ppl have been saying its very close?

  • @F4H33M97 no it wont fit dude. fan spacings are a wrong and there isnt enough room.

  • @F4H33M97 Don't listen to tom, I have it in right now.

  • @TimeToLiveCustoms Ok Thanks

  • @XArthamysX cut a hole in the top and put the rad on the top lol, that or get a koolance exos

  • Ended up getting this over the noctua simply for the saving space. Loving it so far fit in my nzxt phantom great, though I did have to mount the top two fans on the exterior of the top of the case and not the interior, then have the radiator mounted with the two bottom fans on the interior of the top of the case. Couldnt have everything mounted inside cuz of the large ram heatsinks but worked out nicely in the end.

  • @ChrisRey3156 Do you mean the stock 200mm fans on the outside?

  • @ISCREAM92 My case only came with 1 200mm fan on top on the interior of the case so I moved it to the side panel. I installed 2 120mm fans on the top exterior of the case instead for the push pull config.

  • the h60, h80 and h100 are made by coolit. whilte the h50 and h70 where made by asetek.

  • you av a ole in ya shirt bruv

  • @TeamTriple7 it is H50 thin..lol

  • Stop spending money on PC and buy a T shirt, that 1 is fkd xD

just kidding, nice review. I'm getting 1 next week.

  • so which is better? corsair h100 or noctua nh-d14?

  • @TeamTriple7

The H50 isnt thick. I assume you mean the H70?

  • Hey Tom I just picked this up and i absolutly love it, did you buy any chance get to test it with fans blowing in from the top as aposed to exhausting ouy of the top? Do you think it would make much of a difference? I do suppose it would be pumping hot cpu air into the case but with a side and rear exhuast fan do you think this would be a good idea to try?

  • if u run push pull fans can u bring the sound down and get better temps from this?

  • is this compatible with amd??

  • whats the RAM called?

  • Hey man, just wanted to know what would you recommend, the H100 or the D14 cooler

  • Try using the H100 with 4 fans set-up in a push-pull configuration.

  • Hey man, I got a question.. Currently I am running the Intel Core i5 750, on 4.01GHZ .. When under normal load ( Games, movies, photoshop etc ) It's hitting max 60C .. And it idles 36C.. I'm using the Coolermaster V8, is that alright?

  • @ThePunkfisk At full load and an overclock of 4ghz, anything below 70 celcius is great.

  • 1:25 "Right then, gays 'n girlies!

  • 45:46

  • I think the video is a great and detailed review. My only complaint: couldn't you put in some low friction, ultra silent fans from someone like Noctua and fix most of the things you talked about?

  • Just got an H80 myself, thought i would check out the H100 review :D

  • Hmm, 9.45, you could at least change your shirt. :D

  • @quornash Hahahaha

  • what case is that? I currently have a setup using coolmaster silencio 550 and akasa venom fans. For rendering my pc gets pretty hot. Its working fine but I am really worried about it in the long run and its not even overclocked.

What box is that? And that liquid cooler looks good and wondering if it will be more effective for 3d rendering? Please let me know :)

    Cheers~

  • @Kiyamlol Its the Corsair 400R - it doesnt matter what you use the cooler for dude it will perform the same. In these tests the system was run at 100% so you can work out any variables from these results

  • @TimeToLiveCustoms thank you :)

  • I have not been able to watch your more recent videos, but nicely done on this video review.

Glad to see you all at OC3D are keeping up the good work.

  • Will this cool well the core i7 3960X at 4.2Ghz?

  • @MrPekosTech speed makes next to no difference its all about what volts the chip you buy needs.

  • Yes, I have installed on the Asus Rampage Extreme IV (easy fit). Used Corsair Quad channel 16GB C9/1600Mhz ram and click on auto tune to 4.25Ghz. Did it with easy and still cant hear the fans I would say that with the case off the pump is noisier.... Very good product. I am watchin this video because I want to know more about the button on the pump (3 settings) no instructions in box or downloadable from corsair wwww. Hx Comp.

  • @MrPekosTech It cooled my 3930K pretty well.

  • @MrPekosTech at stock clock, i'm getting 28C

  • @MrPekosTech whats the point of 3960X if you clock it only to 4.2 ghz at this speed it will be cooled well with stock cooler

  • Great review man, really appreciate your good work!

    I'm upgrading to i7 2700k 3.5ghz,

with this heatsink, what would be a decent recommended clock speed to run at on low fan speed? As an educated guess of course if you havnt tried it yet.

  • @MRClarke1987 really depends on the volts your cpu needs when overclocking. TBH dude you should just get to testing it and work out what is best for you because anything I say will be guess work where Ive never used your rig.

  • Would this work well with the Arc Midi?

  • can someone recommend me a good set of push-pull fans for this that can get the job done and be fairly quiet?

  • check the Corsair FAQs i.e Understanding the Hydro Series H80 and H100 Cooling Performance Profiles, no manual control now.

  • can not change the fan speeds like in review now mate ,
