The Chronic and Doggystyle are not that great of albums. And damn right no Lil Wayne shit was ever a classic, but who knows... Maybe if he changes he might put a classic song/album, hasn't happened yet and I doubt it will.

None of the albums that have come out since the death of hip-hop have been classics. None of weezy's albums, but im not hating i did actually used to like wayne like a true fan, but then i realised what this is doing to hip-hop. None of the albums released are worthy of being called classics, why isn't the new Nas album being asked if its a classic? The only classic albums ive heard have been all underground, underground artists are the way forward, i suggest u start with Cormega.

Wayne is my nigga, but this is not a classic album. I can't stand 50 Cent now, but when Get Rich or Die Tryin dropped it was raw as hell. It's just a feeling you get when you listen to that album. But 50 just fell off. Wayne is gettin better and more creative with every verse he spits now, so the Carter 4 should be his "Classic".

As for as hype and album sales yes its classic. But a classic hip Hop album hell no. Classic albums are albums like the chronic, all eyes on me, ready to die, doggystyle, reasonable doubt etc. Lil Wayne has a long long way to go. Tha Carter 3 was a classic lil wayne album thats about it.

Tha Carter III was a hard ass album. I mean a couple songs took time to grow on me, but thts what makes classics, when its months after the release and the album still has a full head of steam, they could of held off of LaLaLa, busta kinda killed it, but the beat is sick. nah the only classic since the inpremiditated death of real hip-hop/rap is the documentary (Game) as far as content and music wise but albim sales wayne made history but it has 2 on par with albums such as the blueprint or illmatic all eyez on me both of biggie albums and to me tha carter 2 is a classic in so is the two dedications but c3 is alright from a personal standpoint but mayb if it hadn't been leaked on tha drought is over 4 mayb i wuld b sayin sumthin different let the beat build bitch

man no it wasnt I think Wayne is one of the ebst but it just wasnt that nice. Classic in my opinion is NO SKIPPABLE SONGS. Not true here. let the beat build, la la, 3 peat and got money were whack. That track with Valentino was okay at most. Every other song was hot tho.
