  • Thats a handsome rottie

  • yay! rotties!

  • hey, I was considering getting a rottie but I have no experience in dogs as it will be my first dog, do you think getting a rottie as a first dog is alright??

  • How do you train them to bark on command like that?

  • I have a Rottie and he does this only when someone he doesn't know get too close to someone he does know. He did attack one kid who he thought was attacking another kid he knew (he didn't hurt the kid, just nipped him on the butt, just enough to break skin, no bleeding...like a scrape) and walked back as to stand guard. Is this aggressive behavior and do I need to correct it or was my dog just being a protector? I had him since he was a pup and he always growled at certain people and not others.

  • What a nice german-town must that be - Rottweil...

  • Its funny how my rotts how a whole different personality lol~.

  • i have a 5 6 month old rottie and everytime i take him for a walk he never pee to mark his territory and also have a golden retriever and every time y take both of them for a walk the rottie always want to follow the golden

  • AND....if you've trained Rotties yourself you would know exactly what I meant WHEN I ANSWERED YOU.... if you know how to train a dog you know yourself you have to SEE the dog in action to train it. So way to go rocket...I'm done with this conversation.

  • @beast280 I know you have to see the dog but I was asking for tell-tale signs. Something you apparently aren't aware of. You are done with this conversation. Owned.

  • Way to be a dumbass. I was trying to give your dog a compliment and say that I was training mine in the same fashion. Just forget about it...obviously you don't comprehend what I'm trying to say.

  • @beast280 I don't comprehend what you're trying to say. You said that you know the difference between fear and confidence and when I asked you how to spot the difference you respond by saying that you have to notice the difference. Pure redundancy. You're not trying to train your dog in the same fashion, you have no idea how to read a dog. You've got a 7 month old scared dog that you think is a tough dog.

  • @beast280 We get a few people like you a month at my company wanting help training their dog and I turn them down every time. Some people are too prideful to learn and the shame is that it is the dog who suffers.

  • You have to know how and WHAT to look for when a Rottie responds to certain things. The WAY they respond and act so if its wrong to correct them right then...not on down the line...its too late to train a dog right when they've not been told what was wrong when it happened.

  • @beast280 Way to not answer my question.

  • I was expressing EXACTLY what (zlee415) said...just in different words and terms.

  • WRONG..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's the way I want him...PROTECTIVE....NOT aggressive. He's the biggest baby in the world around people he doesn't know outside the house. He's just protecting what's his. If you knew how to train a dog you would know to train them as you want them at an early age. He is a baby and a great play buddy outside the house.

  • @beast280I've been training high end protection dogs for about 7 years and have placed over 100 protection dogs around the world. One thing that I can almost guarantee is that if a 7 month old dog is going nuts at the door like you describe it is fear based, not confidence based. You're too prideful to learn from others but if you weren't you might start learning how you've got a dog that is going down a path that you aren't going to like. He's not protecting what's his, he's terrified.

  • @communicanine OK...if you say so...but I know how to spot "terrified" and "protective" differences. My family has raised and trained Rotties for 25 years. Trust me...its NOT a "terrified" kind of response to someone knocking on the door. Maybe I exaggerated the "ready to kick ass" scenario. But he DEFINITELY let's us know when someone is at the door and is alert until we tell him its ok or he sees the person himself.

  • @beast280 How do you spot the differences?

  • @beast280 The last thing you want to see in a 7 month old dog is this level of territorial/protective behavior that you describe.

  • BULLSHIT..!!!!!!!!!!!!!....My Rottie is 7 moths old and he ALREADY knows to protect his Mommy and Daddy. ANYONE knocks on my door he's ready to kick ass til he sees who it is (which is how ALL dogs should be)...once he sees and knows the person he's ready to play. If its a stranger he's alert (NOT aggressive) in case some shit jumps off. Rotties are one of the most intelligent breeds in the world IMHO and they can sense if someone isn't trustworthy or about to act stupid.

  • @beast280 - 7 months old and acting like that, huh? You've got a huge problem and you don't even know it.

  • @beast280 any body who uses the phrase ''mommy and daddy'' in relation to dogs loses all credibility with me i'm afraid ha ha dog prob is terrified.. terrified somebody might kiss him again!

  • beautiful.

  • Rottweilers if taught right are very friendly to anyone in the house, and anyone who enters the door. I know this, because one o f the biggest rottweilers i've ever seen, was also one of the friendliest. The owner let me know that anyone who walks through the front door when everyones awake is safe, but if you kick in that door or come in a window. The dog has been trained to tear you to fucking shredds.

  • I have a german shepperd (3/4) rottweiler mix (1/4) 125lbs. He loves everyone in the family but he goes for anyone who enters the house, or even walks by, besides us. Even invited guests except when I am with them, since its my dog he listens to me. I didnt give him any sort of protection training or anything of the sort. Kinda glad he is such a good guard dog but I wish he was a little friendlier toward people on his walks lol.

  • i'll stick to shop lifting over break and enters.

  • BEAUTIFUL

  • 42 people own tiny dogs they can't train. There is a reason to own a guard dog, and it's not to put bows in it's hair.

  • damm thats a bad dog! how old is your dog?

  • @virtroblue attempted robbery four times? You don't need a guard dog, you need to move…

  • i wonder if my doggy would bite someone who tries to enter my house uninvited... Loki (RIP) had this cool habit of hidding under the bushes and then just spring out and chomp pieces off unless told otherwise (he saved my house from robbers 4 times that i'm aware of). but his puppy, jack daniels... i feel he can get stolen along with my house easily enough. luckily i got kiba or guarding wuold be a lost cause (she rips appart everything that moves that i fail to tell her to leave alone) :)

  • feel REAL sorry for some burglar who enters Rocco's domain

  • Nice dog. He is a beauty. You wont need to train him trust me, my rottie is a gently giant but he will protect when necessary. If you show them love then the protection will come naturally. The last thing you want is for him to become vicious with people and then bite someone..he is your boy and that would be awful. He will protect you naturally :0)

  • I agree too our rott would protect us! She also gives a bark when a stranger is at the door (we dont have a doorbell for some reason).

I also believe that a little training couldn't hurt. I don't think it has to be intense. You want to be able to stop your dog from going red zone and I think training could be the differance between a more controlled protection. training may help to gain an active listing dog rather then a dog whos making all the choices without the command of you.

  • what a scary dog i love rotties

  • I really want a dog, and I want to teach is an aggressive alert incase im ever in trouble, where do I even start?

  • to all you pitbull fans! this dog would destroy a pitbull face the fact

  • I guaranty you this guy takes better care of his dog then most people talking shit on his video. You guys talking shit need to learn your shit before you open your mouth and talk shit. especially the ones thats say this dog is for dog fighting. do you guys even know anything about dogs? i mean damn you make yourself look like straight fucking idiots.

  • @TiffTC when someone breaks into your house and your dog attacks him, after a few minutes of biting(when you think the guy has had enough)you want your dog just to stop? NO!! You want him to still be trying to tear that thief's throat out when the cops come

  • i got an amstaff rottweiler , he is mutch bigger and NICER !! the dog should not be taught how to be aggressive !!! I HATE DOGG FIGHTERS! they ruins the dog and its reputation!

  • @xhibbit - I hate dog fighters as well. I am not a dog fighter nor has this dog ever fought another dog. This dog has been trained for family and home protection.

  • @communicanine Dogs should never be trained to protect a home or family..They cant always be "turned off" like an alarm can...I think its very unsafe.

  • @TiffTC - Protection training makes a dog safer. Protection training harnesses the dog's natural drives. These are drives that already exist within the dog and by training the dog one can teach the dog when it's ok to use those drives and when it's not.

  • @communicanine If i was you id just give up replying to these retards lol...i agree with what you do aswell as so many others do.Loads of retards on youtube trying to tell people how to raise a dog and most of them are usually 12 year olds -.-

  • @sc4rzpur3 Good point

  • @communicanine He is correct........however, you have to train them well....since you are giving them practice to bite things....especially people

  • @dinastel Agreed- I train for a living.

  • @TiffTC not true my dog listens and knows what to do. she is thought to attack when need be but at the same time i can go biking with her or running with her off leash in the bz streets of chicago without a problem. she is also great with people especially kids. go check my channel. she is a yellow lab. fyi she has a password for attacking and stopping. i dont think i will ever see her attack enyone just because she looks for me to take care of business, she is my last resort if she needs to be

  • @TiffTC Yes, alarms can often be "turned off" by criminals that aren't morons and know where the lines to your house are. A dog can't be turned off, which is why they are the BEST security system on the planet still.

  • @communicanine So how did you manage that then?

how do you train a rottweiler to be a family dog and go for people on command, surely the two cant work hand in hand? the rottweiler is loyal and very friendly but i've always thought that you either train it to be good with the family or as a guard dog

  • @only1mitch - It's not one or the other. If you have a stable dog with the correct drives he can be both. This dog lives happily with my wife and kids.

  • @only1mitch Rottweilers as a breed, are well manored and friendly dogs. To train them to be good with the family, you socialize them. But like any other dog, they have the natural instinct to protect their owners.

  • @only1mitch you can do you think all cops are single with no kids? protection dogs are always sweet unless commanded to bite a dog that bites everyone isnt a good dog but a liability

  • @only1mitch there is a reason guard dogs are also great family dogs. the drive to protect is rooted in their commitment and bond with their family and master. most guardian breeds do not need training to be defensive of the household, but good training allows a handler to gain much more control over the animal and that makes their capabilities that much more potent. also it helps when dealing with a situation, the dog is trained to take commands during intense moments, like stopping an intruder.

  • @only1mitch My rott is the same way. Great with my family, other dogs, and friends, but if I command her to attack a target she will.

  • @only1mitch i was brought up with rottweilers as a guard dogs and a family pet. there job is to protect and guard their family as well as their home. if trained correctly they can be a beautiful loving dog as well as a protector. a well trained protection dog whether its a rottweiler or some other breed should not feel the need to bite a potential intruder because this can cause financial problems such as medical bills or even court and lawyer bills and even lead having the dog euthanized.

  • @xhibbit i totally agree

  • Please post the video of the dog eating the guy's neck.

  • german bloodline rotties are way better then the american ones imo

  • if that dog waz barking at me

    i would fucking run

  • good he is relly pretective

  • is this rottweiler american or german

  • @andreasyanmusho Czech

  • @andreasyanmusho Thats a german rottie

  • @andreasyanmusho their beginning was in the a really long time ago before current Germany or America.

They were originally bred by Romans when the Roman emperor was trying to conquer Europe, and the Rottweiler was used to herd cattle long distances for the troops and sometimes fight.

  • does the harness work well

  • does that harness work for your dog

  • psssh, i wouldnt fuck with that guy.

  • DAMN look at the guy holdin the dog, he's hangin on for dear life.

  • The rottweler is so beautiful!!

  • BARK BARK

  • Rottweiler - beautiful, loyal breed.

  • That's one macho rottie

  • really impulsive!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • American line breeders have been breeding the aggression out of the breed, for almost a decade, to make it more available to the people that shouldn't own it in the first place. In other words, there is most certainly a difference between an ADRK line and American line rottweiler. I'll take a German dog over an American dog, any day.

  • no the difference isn't just where they come from german rotts are 10 times bigger that american breed rotts

  • @courtneycook97 I have a Rottweiler, dad is an ADRK/USRC Champion out of Germany, mom is a Swedish import. Dad weighs 115lbs, Mom is 90 and mine is 95. Want to explain how these champion dogs are 10X's the size of American Rottweilers?

  • dobrmans are better

  • @teddybear4422 i agree.. dobermans are WAY better and better looking by far

  • Gorgeous dog!

  • i like it , that´s a good trained security dog should be

  • In my opinion there is a HUGE difference between American and European import rottweilers. The Euro breed standard is very different from AKC. The most noticeable difference is the larger bone type and high drive. Some of the best rotts in the world are from Euro breeders. Most of the "united states" breeders have diminished in confirmation from low breed standards and puppy mills. Both countries have there breeding faults, but it's truly amazing the quality of the Euro line.

  • @chromeplease no nto really, why did you get such wrong infromartion? seriouly. there is no difference, in fact there even should be that classification, a rott is a rott

  • what better a german rottweiler or american

  • I`m from Germany, and it`s just german Rottweiler ,no american breed they`re from Baden-Würtemberg(Rottweil).

  • just beacause yugoslavia doesnt exist on our maps doesnt mean that its people and animals have mutated to some other breed or immigrated from there. wht i meant obviously was the rotties from that region. there r no german or american rotties either its just how strictly breeders in every country stick to the rottweiler standards while breeding.

  • nope they are german so stfu

  • There is no such thing as Yugoslavian rotts. Yugoslavia hasn't been a country since the early 90's.

  • there are no such things as german or american rotts either. wht i meant was obviously the rotties which are bred in that "country". u can now refer to countrieso f southeast europe or Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia etc

  • There are German and American Rotts. They come from Germany or America.

  • @communicanine lol, a rott is a rott

  • @CedrikTheManiac00 If only that were the case.

  • Germany developed the Standard and encompassed the Rott as a working dog.

Outside of Germany, the Rott is basically Shiite.

It no longer works. It is overpopularized and watered down, incapable of work

  • @StSimonOfTrent lol, same as in germany, the era of the working dog is nearly finish, they are they for companion and prtector

  • @elodiegs So tell me: are there no german shepherds or dutch shepherds either?

  • then in that way we should not even classify them as roman rottweilers because roman empire hasnt been there for centuries now !

  • Who classifies them as Roman?

  • @communicanine they are originally a Roman work dog bred in Germania during the roman empire is what the person means!

  • @communicanine Roman rottweilers are oversized ones that are not AKC/CKC recognized. I believe a lot of them may be cross bred with Mastiffs as they run close to 200 pounds. I'll take my 95 pound boy any day of the week.

  • Actually it doesnt exist since 2003! Changed name to Serbia and Montenegro! Of course rotts are originaly from Germany but there are some teories that they are from Rome!

  • this dog would never even have to bite because nobody is stupid enough to check if hes bluffing

  • now thats a true rotti!!!!!!!!. i need a dog that will protect me and my family! looks like rocco fits that bill perfectly!

  • krass

so einen muss ich mir auch bald zulegen

  • i want a rott like this where can i get it?

  • Get a German bloodline they are larger with big blocky heads also they have darker coats than the skinny American bloodlines.

  • rots with the stockier build are usually reffered to as german rotts. look them up, they are all over.

  • Rotts are great dawgs but they dont live long and have lots of medical issues!

  • All the more reason to get a well bred dog. This guy has never had to go to the vet except for shots.

  • @Stunna32 It depends how good you look after the dog. Go onto the Rottweiler discussion forum. The Rotties on there are living up to 14 years some make it to 18..It's about the food you feed it, don't over vaccinate the dog, do your research and buy from a reputable breeder. Good breeder = very healthy pup. It's up to the owner to keep it that way.. It's the puppy mills and back yard breeders who are making this breed sick. My female before the one I have now lived to 14. 3 months away from 15

  • @Rotties9292 not really, the oldest rottweiler documented was 15 year old, i dougt every 1 could past this even with lots of love and care

  • These types of comments are only to be expected from uneducated rottweiler followers. I have a 13 year old male going on 14 who is in great shape who is in excellent health. Cancer does plague the breed as well as hip dysplasia. I have a cousin who has a healthy 14 year old male. The oldest documented rott is 15 years old.

  • I imported this guy from the Czech Republic when he was a puppy.

  • I read that rotts are very quiet when actually in sense of a threat but bark when annoyed by stuff like car alarms.

  • my old rot would stand with her shoulders all broad, and growl slowly showing her teeth, and all of her hair would be standing up. She would not bark though, it was kinda scary looking

  • awh. he's so cute

  • is it true that rotties has higher chance of gettin parvo? im plannin of gettin a rott but i dont want it to die even tho it had all the shots. i was readin som artcle that it will need an xtra shot for rotts

  • rotts and dobermans do have more chance of parvo. I have a rott and the vet told me that dogs with black coats have a higher risk of catching parvo.

But dont stress, parvo is caught via other dogs feces so to minimise the chance dont let your rott pup out of your yard until its had all its shots.

  • I've had 4 rotts and never heard of a higher chance of parvo.

  • i like his look...most rotts around here dont look that good.. I have a ddr german shepherd(check my vid) He can be very intimidating. Fortunately , the situation hasnt arose. I feel sorry for the poor guy.

  • Every Rottie i have ever met has been a sweet heart :) They are naturally very nice dogs.... They are also just naturally able to make a grown man crap his pants if they wanted too. Because they are so powerful they need to be very socialized and well trained. In case their ever is a situation where a rott needs to protect you, this kind of training ensures that the owner will still have control of the pup.

  • nice dog!

  • A bit too protective *bites the burglars nuts off*

  • damn when my boi was in dis sistauon when he was getin ready 2 go after another coyotie id jus let him go...

i was 2 weak an still am..

  • braver Rotti :-) schön, dass man im Hintergrund den Schutzhelfer mim Stecken hört :-), aber so richtig auf Wehrtrieb ist der Süsse noch oder trainiert ihr auf Beute(spiel)?

  • i cant hold my rotty wen hes like this

  • i gotta pick me up a dog like this to guard the house

  • Ab ins Heim

  • dummkopf...

  • Rotts are LOYAL, that's why they are like this!

  • The best guard dog breed is Rottweiler.born guard dog breed.

  • They are also the most kindest dog, but they need serious training from puppy hood if you dont want them to attack and gaurd you from everyone he sees. Then, this will be a behaviuor issue. They are good gaurding dogs :)

  • I love Rottweilers !

  • yea my dad had a rottie i loved that dog was the best guard dog ever and lived for 14 awesome years and im 11 my got him at 6 weeks so he was there my whole life i miss him a lot

  • wow very good rottweiler..

  • that video was dazingly marvelous.

    alluring pupp.

  • im thinking of getting either a germans shepherd or rottweiler... i have quite a bit of property and need a family dog and a guard dog.. anyone have any suggestions.... ?????????????????????????? ROTTWEILER OR GERMAN SHEPHERD

  • in 1908 a lady named sally rusa was in the woods looking for a dog until a ghost came and killed her so if ur reading this u will find a bloody body in your closet hanging there haunting you and will kill you and ur family and if u want to stop this just sends this to 6 videos in 30 mins or this will happen good luck

  • how you train your dog as protector dog as propper maner please tell me, some of my friends told me that make my dog eat a chili pepper to make him more agressive and harshfull training but i dont want to because i do like dogs and i dont want hurt my dogs please tell me how you make your to be like that.

  • its ready to get at somebodies ass

  • Although I love dogs and love Rotties.. I think I would be more scared of a Rottweiler than a German Shepherd barking at me like that.

  • wat did he bark for?

  • aggressive alert...

  • he felt like it. problem?

  • keq

  • themic how dumb can you get, rocco is a well trained dog it would only attack when it is commanded to u fake fukk face, get facts asshole.

  • its illegal to train a dog to attack on command here in the UK

  • very beautiful dog

  • i like rotts!!!!!! they are the best!!!!!!!!!

  • thats what my old dog did when he saw sum1 touch me =/ i miss him

  • Daaaaaaam....i looooove rottweilers and dobermans, ive always dreamed of having one i would be so dam happy! but...in my house those kinda dogs are not well accept, i have a german shepherd and its great but...a rottweiler....so amazing..

  • Yeah i know what you mean.. i always dreamed of having a rottie since i was a little baby almost. I bought a boxer pup 6 months ago cuz my parents werent very happy when i said im bringing home a rottweiler.. but now that i decided im getting another dog.. im definately, DEFINATELY buying a rottie. couple more months and i should have it... :) i hope youll have luck one day of getting one !! bless

  • You buy that Rotti yet ?

  • i wanna rottie

can you train them to be in all those modes like attack or aggresvive alert

  • It's more like you have to train them OUT of it. They're naturally like that :3

  • hmmm... my baby rotti watched, too. veeeeeeery interesting.

  • i want to hug him and pull his ears... so cute... i miss my rottie...

  • If that dog was really mad and mind was set on attacking/protecting that lead would be out of that guys hand easily :|

  • u really don't know anything about protection dogs do u he doesn't rip the lead out of the guys hand cause he is protecting the handler he was to attack that would leave the handler defenceless think before u talk stupid

  • aww he's cute i have a pit bull named Rocco! i also have a rottie they are such great dogs!

  • *****

  • Bahahaha awesome doggy i want it =]

  • lol 7you really dont know what youre talking about rocco is a trained protectioon dog if some pone attacked his owner rocco would kill them and have alook at his over bvideo before you open youre oversized mouth

  • TheMicEntertainer2 you're a fucking retard stop posting comments about you dog killing other dogs you're an irresponsible dog owner and its wankers like you're self who are getting pitbulls banned stop acting like you're a tuff cunt. • I dont get pit bull band because I dont fight them see how wrong you are now let me tell you why you shouldnt train a dog to become mean toward people because what if a friend of yours sneak up from behide and grap you like a playful move and your dog see him and attack what would you do now LOL
