  • its very different its better than kendo and its more satisfying when u win cause this is more action kendo doesnt have a lot of action

  • kendo, by the very name is sword fighting. It is similar in the sense that both styles more or less assume you have a weapon, but HRD (this style) you learn many weapons, and the fighting without a weapon is disarm / grappling. This is designed for military based purposes.

  • Same weapon same armor and it's still fighting with a sword so of course it's fairly similar. The main difference is the style of fighting. Kumdo matches are a lot more aggressive whereas Kendo tends to be a lot more of a waiting game.

  • Are there different rules to the matches that force them to be more decisive?

    I've been in kendo matches that were fast and some were slow.
