Well, in the beginning of 20th century, KAIZER Wilhem II was spending his time in ACHILLION PALACE at GASTOURI, Corfu Greece.

He liked this music very much, so, supporting the local Music Band, he offered the music score to the Band and they were playing for him.

And because the Rhythm is matches the Corfiot dance steps, the music was 'renamed' to, as "Gastouriotikos choros tou Kaizer" (Gatourit's dance of Kaizer)!...

This for the history.

Strange. I have Schindler's list video but there are only two verses of the song in it and of course the nazi officer who says "marry us !" to the ladies. I googled it and the performers in the film was a group called "the Egon Kaiser orchestra". But I have also seen Schindler's list in cinema, in 1993, and it featured the entire song. It was more similar to the version in mistacanista's video rather than this one.
