ok so im about to buy a 05 scion Xb yay finally i want a kick ass sound but i dont want to sound like a ricer what are some good choices?? i dont want a dual exhaust jus a single

@05XbScion the engines of the first gen. and 2nd gen. are compleetly different engines, the 2nd gen is a 2.4L so your selections would be different from what i had to choose from.

Did you have any problems with the CEL?

@sigtauguy07 hello sigtauguy07, no no at all. all it is is a pipe with about a 90 degree bend and a threded coupling that threads into the s-pipe like the stock s-pipe except for the bend and the o-2 senser screws into the opisite end of the cel. i think it lets the o-2 senser read a portion of what it would in the origional s-pipe. i've had mine in going on 2 yrs. and have never had the cel light come on and with the mods it is a noticable increse in power.

Iv been looking into exhaust for my gen 2, Yours sounds pretty good, not being a hater but do you have anything under the hood to keep up with that tough sound? After watching vids and reading reviews from clubxb I think I have to go with the trd, I guess I like just a lil more subtle sound. Did you get any gains from the exhaust?

@sigtauguy07 yes i have a K&N cai that is good for 10 hp and 8 ftlp tq , a WeaponR 4-2-1 race header with 2 1/2" collector and head pipe, cat & scuba tank deleet, Magnaflow 16"x6" muffler and a Borla dual rear section so i'm making about 180 hp at the crank and about 162 hp at the wheels. i'm running the auto-trans.

@st3alth212 Putting on the same header and s-pipe with TRD axle back. Hope it sounds half as good!
